Hi everyone,

So I'm just confused really. I haven't felt myself for about 2 weeks. I feel sick every morning until I eat, can't stop peeing but I'm not drinking any differently to normal! My hormones are everywhere and I can't understand why.

I have been on the mini pill on and off for a while, I stopped taking it completely about a week ago and had a bleed for about 3 weeks (whilst I was on it) which stopped on Sunday. It wasn't as heavy as usual either

I did have days which I forgot the pill whilst I was taking it, is it possible I'm pregnant? Il do a test in the morning but wanted some advice.

Unlikely you're getting symptoms from pregnancy without a positive test. It is highly possible the effects are from coming off the pill/ slightly irregular use of the pill.

MissSophieB397 · 17/07/2018 15:23

@physicskate I haven't took a test yet to be fair so I wouldn't know. But yeah there is the side effects of my pill. Just never had this before and I've been irregular before with my pills

Then take a test? No one can tell you if you're pregnant or not. A test can...

firsttime17 · 17/07/2018 20:48

Sounds confusing for you, a 3 week bleed seems that it would be unlikely to me that you are pregnant but obviously I'm no doctor... I hope you get the result you want, good luckThanks this can be a really good place for support and advice but some people on here can be so rude so try to ignore the blunt onesSmile xx

physicskate · 17/07/2018 21:15

@firsttime17 were you calling me rude and blunt?

I agree the op must be frustrated but the only way to tell if you're pregnant or not is with a test....

MissSophieB397 · 17/07/2018 22:27

@firsttime17 thank you sweetie! Yeah I get that vibe off people on here but I don't take it personally, I wasn't born yesterday I know tests are the true "answer" but I just wanted to know if it's normal to bleed for so long, knowing I haven't took my pill like I should be and still being sexually active. I did a test earlier but I saw a line but it was almost clear/see through, then when it dried I couldn't see it as well il add a photo. I think it is neg though ! Il do another with FMU. I wasn't planning on a baby just yet, but I'd be so blessed if I did fall pregnant 💕

Pregnant ?

If your symptoms were actually pregnancy symptoms for two weeks you would have a very clear positive. You only get symptoms anyway when your HCG starts rising, at which point you’d have a positive - in fact lots of people get a positive weeks before any symptoms.

xJune88 · 18/07/2018 07:25

The pill mimics pregnancy symtoms when you first come off it. Hope you get your two lines soon xx

firsttime17 · 18/07/2018 07:29

I can't see a second line sorry! I was lucky enough to fall pregnant after a month of "shall we have a baby or not?" Wait I'm pregnant"😂 hope you one day get that positive.... good luck on your future x

I got pregnancy symptoms before my af was due. Was sick for about a week in the morning, really sore boobs and very tired. Unfortunetly ended in misscarriage but i didn't get a proper positive till a few days before that. So it is possibly to have the symptoms early

Unknown1805 · 18/07/2018 13:36

I can see a line

MissSophieB397 · 18/07/2018 13:41

I did a test this morning but I think my eyes are teasing me now as it was still a faint faint faint line!

So I'm ruling pregnancy out, I don't think I am I do believe it's my pill causing me symptoms. But I'm now off the pill for TTC so it all starts now! 💕
