Anyone with any experience of two surges per cycle?
I’m breastfeeding my 2 year old and my cycles have come back but seem pretty irregular so far.
After my first period I had all the usual signs of ovulation on CD8 and in fact my temperature rose sharply afterwards and stayed high for about 12-14 days and then fell so I expected another period only it didn’t come and then I started getting signs of ovulation again, took an OPK it was positive and then 11 days later got a faint BFP. That pregnancy ended in a MMC two months later. I’m assuming my body tried to ovulate, didn’t, and then had another go.
Anyway following ERPC, taking the op as day 1 I then had a 25 day cycle, which is fairly normal for me pre DC.
I’m on the cycle after that now. On about CD 10 or 11 again very clear symptoms of ovulation - which works with a 25 day cycle - thought I had. Now I’m on CD 19. Yesterday I had all the symptoms of ovulation again so took an OPK and it was positive, so I’m kind of assuming I might ovulate today and then TWW starts. Or it might not of course.
Because my cycles have now returned and in fact I did get pregnant I know I am able to successfully ovulate but this is getting so confusing.
Anyone else believe they have two or more goes at ovulating a month? Does anyone know if it’s an issue?
