Anyone good at BBT charts?

Hello, it’s my first time temp charting and I don’t really understand what I’m looking at 😂

When do you think I ovulated?, and is this chart looking good for possible pregnancy or can you not really tell until later on in my cycle?

Thanks all 😊

I have two charts going at once as I’m a little obsessed 😂

I think this one is clearer to read

On the first chart I'd say CD13 but you'd need a few more temps to confirm it but on the second chart I'd say CD12 as you don't have the big drop again like on the first chart. Hopefully it'll all be clearer after a few more days.

@NoseringGirl thank you! I’ve just realised the last chart isn’t correct! I put the wrong temps in 😂 so I guess possibly CD 13 for ovulation then? I got a positive OPK on cd 9 - would it really take from cd 9- 13 to ovulate?

Thanks so much 😊

As far as I understand it, other than confirming ovulation (which your broadly 'biphasic' pattern does confirm - low temps in first half followed by high in the second), charts aren't great at showing signs of early pregnancy before your period. Some women get an 'implantation dip' but this isn't reliably the case. In terms of showing lack of conception, some women's temps dip and stay low from a few days before period (whereas your temp stays high if pregnant) but other women don't see the drop until the day of getting their period.

It's usually 12-36 hours after a positive OPK. However, your body can gear up to ovulate so you get a positive OPK but then not ovulate for whatever reason and it tries again in a couple of days.
Temps and OPKs aren't an exact science but if you look at them in combination you can usually get a rough idea of when to expect AF and when to do a pregnancy test if AF doesn't show. Good luck!

How long are your cycles? Only asking as if you are 11dpo at the moment it might be picked up on an FRER hpt? Depends how far away af is though. I got my bfp on 11dpo. Fingers crossed for you op.

@Funkyemzie thanks so much for your reply. My average cycle length is 25/26 days but sometimes have a shorter or longer cycles 21-33 days. My LP phase is always 14 days. I did a pregnacy test yesterday and nothing came up. I’ve just got quite a big dip in temperature this morning, do you think that’s AF on its way? Thanks again 😊

Could be AF or implantation dip at this stage, I imagine. Fingers crossed it's the latter! X

Looking at this Chart @tillytillytilly2018 I'd say you O'd on cd13. So you're 7dpo. Temp dip could be implantation. But only time will tell.
