Are pregnancy symptoms caused by progesterone or HCG?

After TTC for nearly 2 years and 3 early MC, I am currently taking luteal phase progesterone to help with implantation issues if I conceive. Il am on CD26 with AF due on Friday and have been taking the progesterone for 10 days now.

I have very sore boobs and also today have been to the loo 3 times already and it's only 8am! Also felt quite dizzy when I got up. My question is though, is all this just caused by my progesterone tablets? Or are some of these symptoms caused by HCG? Any advice appreciated, as I am sitting on my hands not to test.

Sore boobs and loo could be progesterone, or they could be hcg or both. Dizziness could be hcg, the heat or low blood sugar or a million different things- not helpful eh? Try not to symptom spot. Unless you get pregnant quickly it's soul destroying

I am trying not to symptom spot, but it's so hard!

I'll say try not to symptom spot as well, which is the most hypocritical thing I can say as I was a total sod for it! The two times I had a positive test was when I had zero symptoms at all, but yes both progesterone and HCG can both be responsible for symptoms x
