Hi. First time poster so please bear with me whilst I get used to things!

I'm early 30s and TTC#1 C5. My last three periods have been very light, to the point of almost non existence and mainly old brown blood . I usually have the complete opposite end of the spectrum (very heavy bright red with lots of clots, sorry if TMI Blush).

Has anyone else experienced this? It's the marked difference that's making me worried something is going on. Could it be early menopause? Confused

Grateful for any help!

I had similar. 33 & TTC #1 for a year

My periods just seemed to get shorter and lighter, literally 1 day of bleeding and 1 of spotting whereas they were 5 days when I was younger

I was convinced it was early menopause but my FSH test came back as 6.9 so no hormonal indication that was the case

I'm now 30 weeks pregnant so all my worries about my poor uterine lining were obviously misplaced

It might be worth seeing your doctor anyway. It's probably too soon for them to do fertility investigations but they may from a gynaecology point of view

Thanks @polkadotpixie. Really reassuring to know. I've recently had some scans which showed fibroids which were small and told wouldn't stop me conceiving. May go to Dr just in case like you suggested. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
