Agnus Castus for TTC or no?

I've just bought some Agnus Castus 4mg tablets from H&B in the hopes to bring on ovulation as I am breastfeeding and TTC and my cycles have not yet returned.

Does anyone have experience of using it for TTC? In the leaflet it says not to use while ttc - or breastfeeding - which has left me confused.

Hi!
I used AC before having my ds to shorten cycles and bring on ovulation. It did help to do that!
I wanted to start ttc dc2 but like you I am awaiting af. I've been taking Ac for a few months (800mg a day for first month or so and since then 1000mg a day). I've also reduced bfing to 1/2 quick feeds in the night and still no af!
However I had some pretty good ov signs on the 30th and some cramping since so I am hoping af will make a show soon (or a bfp!)

I'm not sure if the higher dose of AC helped or reducing feeds but even if it was the latter I'm hoping have it in my system will help to quickly regulate my cycles when they do come back.

It hasn't affected my supply at all and from my research I believe it's fine to take during bfing so it's worth a shot! I would take 2 of your tablets a day. Good luck 😊

Hi I took them few months before I got pregnant with DS. They used to be 400mg x2 daily out of Holland and Barrett but due to new regulations they cant sell them at this dosage anymore. So I ordered 1000mg from eBay - will only take them for a few months again x
