Missed period?!

So confused! Ive missed a period 2 days ago and when i test it just keeps saying 'not pregnant' like wtf? I never miss periods so i know something is going on, but just don't understand why its saying I'm not pregnant 😐 don't know what to do...any other mums had the same problem? Did you find out you were pregnant? How long until you re tested? its really getting to me

If it's a Clear Blue digital it is prob still too early to test with it as your hcg needs to be high. Get a frer - first response Early result and if you're pregnant you'll get your answer 🤞

Watching curiously as I'm in the exact same boat. Did a clear blue digits on the first day of my missed period and it said not pregnant. It's been days now and I'm scared to retest. How many days missed are you?

@tigerroundfortea its been nearly 3 days :( i really don't understand why its saying not pregnant, i took the clear blue aswelll, its my first baby so im so exited, brought clothes, Moses basket ect...i usually come on every month and every month i do come on i get so upset and tbh pissed off now i havent come on and im thinking 'THIS IS IT! IM GONNA BE A MUMMY' and the stupid tests are saying not pregnant 😢 can you possibly keep me updated on what happens with you? As we are in the same boat :) x

i was also due on friday - always smack on the day give or take 1 day either side.

This month 3 days late so far but negative on all tests!

I;ve tried first response early tests, clear blue, cheapy ones and not even a faint line on any of them!

Been getting period type cramps but nowhere near as bad as usual but no blood, not even spotting!

Hi ladies - can I join? I'm in the same boat! Very regular 28 day cycle. Should have come on my period on Sunday but so far nothing, 2 days overdue.

Sorry accidental clicked send on my last post without finishing! So as I was saying, 2 days overdue. I tested my BBT last week and it was low (which made me think I'm definitely not going to get pregnant this cycle), but now no sign of AF. I have been very bloated these past few days and unusually have had a lot of white CM post-ovulation. If I'm not pregnant I'm worried that I'm late or skipping a cycle (which has never happened before) due to stress as we have just bought our first home and renovating it at the same time. Too nervous to try a test as I was 5 days late on s previous cycle and only ever got BFNs. Let's see what tomorrow brings...

Hi everyone, seems i am not alone there is alot of us in the same boat! Ive been ttc for 5 months now and every month like i said i come on my period which really pisses me off and gets me so upset, this month like i say was expecting af but haven't had anything! Usually i get severe cramps and come on really heavy, ive had a few little cramps to where im thinking oh im coming on, but then after a few mins they disappear, they are nothing like the ones i have before my period! Im always on time and this month 2 days late but its saying not pregnant!!!! Im thinking if i missed a period could it also be due to stress? But ive had more stressful times in my life than im having now, and always had my period!! Could this be it? Am i pregnant? Who knows 😢 i'm so inpatient when it comes to baby stuff! Brought outfits and a moses basket and everything 😢 everything crossed this will be the month! Going to wait a couple of days until i test again though, brought a pack of clear blue tests the ones where they say how many weeks! But so far nothing... anyone had any symptoms? Never been pregnant before so im new to all these 'what to look out for' kinda things, good luck ladies 🍼👶🏼

@keanukhalessi123 ah I totally empathise with you (this is cycle 7 for us). Previous cycles I have convinced myself I was pregnant and so distraught when I wasn't (plus literally everyone around me is either pregnant or just had their baby). I'm still too scared to test because my BBT was low last week, I just can't handle another BFN. I used to test obsessively in previous cycles but have tried to not do that as much recently. I've said to myself if after a week AF hasn't arrived (and I have only had a BFN), then I'll visit the dr as I'm worried I skipped a period. Same, things are stressful but I have definitely been through worse and still had AF. Keep us updated. Fingers crossed for you and everyone here 🤞

I think you guys might want to start educating yourselves about cycles. Bodies are not clocks - so there really is no such thing as clockwork. Before ttc were you not on hormonal contraception which tends (but doesn't always) to regulate cycles?

It's super common to be late - this is caused by late ovulation or an anovulatory cycle - both are very very common. When not ttc you probably wouldn't notice being a couple days late.

Track your cycles to find out when you ovulate as af will start the same number of days later (generally two weeks). And no, plotting symptoms in an app isn't enough. Start opks or bbt. Otherwise this same frustration can happen every cycle.

And I hate to say it, but it's very normal for it to take a year to become pregnant.

For your own sanity, chill out. If tests are negative two weeks after ovulation, it's unlikely (but not entirely impossible) to be your cycle this time...

Be kind to yourselves. Stop torturing yourselves.

Hi everyone, where did you all end up? Did you get your BFP? I'm 6 days post AF being due and still nothing for me (no BPF but also no AF which is v unusual for me). It's making me quite anxious tbh.

Even if your periods are super regular every month, it’s very common to have a cycle where AF is a few days late every now and then. I usually have around a 30 day cycle, every single month, but I’ve always had the odd 32-34 day cycle when I’ve ovulated a few days later than I expected.

If your period has been missed by a few days the tests would more than likely be saying you’re pregnant if you were, I don’t mean to sound harsh.

But to be extra sure, take a FRER.

My cycle is always 28 days and has been since I started when I was 11. However in March this year I completely missed a period. No reason, never missed one before but this time I did. Next period arrived in April as normal and it was a 48 day cycle between February and the April one due to the missed March one.

@keanukhalessi123 so sorry I forgot to pop back and update. I got my bfp yesterday which was a complete shock as I'd done 5 negative tests over the last week. My period is a week late today. Best of luck x

For some reason the app got deleted and i forgot the password omg finally got it sorted again, in the end it turned out that i wasn't pregnant i was just late :( time to try again this month fingers crossed x
