First time poster: have I messed up?

Hi all, it's my first post here. Realised I need somewhere to get stuff out my head to people who have maybe been there.

I have been ttc for seven months. So far I've had three sets of implantation bleeding, and one (shortlived) bfp.

I did the OV test, and had some spotting at 8/9dpo, and some mild cramping on the right hand side. Which I hoped was implantation. But then stupidly, went out last night. Alcohol didn't taste good and made me feel a bit nauseous, so I didn't have much initially. But my glass kept getting filled. And I honestly don't know how much prosecco I had. Then I started to throw up.

I've just woken up to find bright red blood. And I'm loathing myself that I may have induced a spontaneous abortion.

I'm now 10 dpo, period not due for 5 days. But have a draggy feeling on my lower left hand side.

Don't know what to do. Beating myself up so much.

At that stage it won't have affected anything please don't worry that you've done anything wrong. Good luck with ttc I hope it all works out well.

Thanks @Emma198 . I managed to get off the ledge once I stopped feeling so sick. Hard to stay rational sometimes!!

I think you've just got your period early.

There's no effect at that stage. Until the placenta forms nothing passes from your blood to foetus, and you couldn't have been that far along from what you've said. Reduced blood flow to uterus also cannot affect foetus that early.

Blood could be implantation bleeding at this stage, but is more likely to be slightly early period.

Hope you're feeling ok, and good luck with ttc
