Periods with Cerezette Mini Pill

I know this isn't the right place to post but I couldn't find a section where I could talk about it!

I'm on the cerezette mini pill and have been for several months since I last had a miscarriage I decided to stop TTC for a year or so to just start fresh as my partner is now going to university so it was the best decision in our eyes.

I've now been on a period (quite heavy, sorry TMI) for 2 weeks. I stopped for about 2 days and came on again, and it's never ending!

Anyone have any advice? Should I change contraception as this is putting me down so much, I can handle periods as I've always suffered with heavy, unpleasant ones but having it for 2 weeks straight just drains me.

Thank you

Ps I've tried the injection but I gained too much weight with this and had on off periods throughout, the Coil is out the question as il never have that again due to last time suffering a lot of pain. The only thing I haven't used is the rod but it just seems grim.

Nobody had any experience with this? I'm now 3 weeks on the dot with periods, still getting period pains today and it's not getting any lighter! 😢

I bled constantly for 3 weeks, then random bleeds for another 3, then no periods. My period also returned normally as soon as I stopped taking it

See the GP. Not all pills work for all people. You should give a pill 3 months and if it hasn't settled down try another.

I changed from the injection to cerazette and was exactly the same as you. Managed to stick it out for 6 months and have now changed to microgynon (3 months and no problems so far).
