2nd month properly TTCing, and on CD12! Predict that I'll ovulate on cd16-18.

Anyone else in similar situation? Let's hope for good results in a few weeks! :)

@purplestar9 - it's so tempting to POAS early isn't it! I made that mistake last cycle and it's hard as even with bfn you still have hope until AF rears her ugly head!
This time I am determined not to test until 14dpo - I am going to need DH to hide all the tests! 😂

@FlapJackered I know right! How far though the cycle are you at the moment?

@purplestar9 I am on CD19 so just behind you! I think I only ovulated yesterday though so waiting for the temperatures to confirm it over the next few days. 🤞🏻

Currently CD 19, I had a faint positive OPK on CD13 and a stronger positive on CD14 so I’m assuming I ovulated on CD15-18? I’m still trying to get my head around how it works! I came off the pill at the beginning of the year and I think my cycle is 26-28 days. I’m not sure we DTD enough in the relevant time window so this month may just be practice

When would be the earliest I should test? Should I wait for CD26-28 which I think would be 12-14 DPO?

@FlapJackered I do feel for you having such long cycles, hope they get a bit shorter for you!

@Patapouf welcome :) I personally would say to wait until AF is due to test but I know how hard that can be to wait! Maybe wait at least 10-12 DPO, otherwise it's not likely going to pick up the hormones for a positive test so early. Good luck!

So a little off topic, but I had to get an emergency appointment at the docs this morning as I found a lump on my breast last night and was totally freaked out by it. Couldn't stop worrying about it all night and all morning. I was told they think it's a cyst but I'm being referred to a specialist clinic in the next couple of weeks for further testing. So that distracted me from the 2ww for a while, but now I need even more distractions so I don't think about this too much! Big rant... sorry :) I do appreciate being able to chat to you girls though!

@purplestar9 - you poor thing, that must be so worrying. If they say they think it is a cyst, I am sure it is - but good that you have spotted it and it can be properly checked out. I recommend lots of time wasting on MN for distraction! Feel free to rant whenever you need to.

@Patapouf Welcome! I agree with @purplestar9 from bitter experience of the disappointment from early testing I would wait until you are due AF if you can. That will be my plan this cycle and will be getting DH to hide the tests nearer the time!

@FlapJackered thank you, it was very worrying. But I'm being positive now, I'm sure it's nothing serious.
As I'm now in my second cycle off the pill I'm trying to distinguish some patterns with symptoms so I'm not getting my hopes up all the time. I started with a little cramping and lower back pain today but it didn't last long, so this may just be the new norm leading up to AF now. Guess we'll see! Hope everyone's doing okay :)

I am still resisting the urge to test, but I sort of feel on high alert for any PMS symptoms now.
If we haven’t been successful this month I just want to fast forward to next months fertile window!

Hey, sorry I haven't been on much.. Having a mare with this cycle. I have no idea what is going on at all. I don't know when I ovulated. I don't know how many DPO I am or how long this cycle will be 🙈 it looked like it was going so well! X

@Patapouf And @purplestar9 What day do you think you will test? I am thinking 22nd.

@Pudding01 - I think the app looks right and it looks like you ov'd on cd13 or potentially 15 but then they are pretty consisted. The next dip could be implantation?
I would go from app but maybe wait until 14dpo. Then even if it was cd15 you should still get an accurate result. It's hard to wait though!

My chart for the first time is actually looking good! The last year has been stupidly long cycles with temps all over the place, but now this looks good but for some reason Natural cycles hasn't placed my ovulation, but I am pretty sure it looks like I ov'd on cd18.
What do you think? It's hard not to get my hopes up for a normal cycle after a 56day one!

@FlapJackered I'm thinking I'm going to wait until next weekend if I can. My app says AF is due Thursday but my cycles a bit messed up so I'll give it a couple of days and if it hasn't shown by Saturday/Sunday then I'll test. So fingers crossed we all get some good news next weekend!

I said to myself that I would try not to symptom spot this cycle but I can't help it! And there's not even many symptoms to spot right now!
I'm going to try my best to wait until Saturday to test if AF hasn't shown by then. Hope everyone else is doing okay and are having some positive signs! 😀

I don't know how you can wait until next weekend, I don't think I would get past Thursday without testing if I were you!
I am due on Sunday, so going to try very hard to wait until then. I am not feeling pregnant at all though and just starting to get my normal pms symptoms so I think it is going to be a BFN for me this cycle.

@FlapJackered it's only because I was 5 days late last cycle so I'm not sure how long my 'regular' cycle actually is at the moment so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I'm thinking I may cave on Friday though!

So, ladies, does anyone have a success story this month?

I think I'm out of the race for July as I didn't get a positive OPK result by CD18 and I couldn't keep testing because we went on holiday. I did have more (sorry TMI) discharge than usual on CD20, so hoping that was ovulation, but won't get my hopes up. Have had elastic transparent discharge all week actually - guess it is a weird month for me (since I can't be ovulating for a week - hahaha!)

@artemis2 not yet, but AF hasn't arrived yet. I took a test on Wednesday eve but BFN. I'm not 100% sure when AF is due, 28 day cycle would mean it was Thursday but I think I'm more like 32/33 day cycle now so maybe due Sunday/Monday. Will test Monday if not had it yet.
How about you?

Actually, just checked my app and it was a 34 day cycle last time, so I should be expecting AF anytime from now until Wednesday I think!

@purplestar No idea about mine - last month it was 30 days but an app I downloaded calculated it as 33, so due next Saturday. I'm not hopeful for this month, but we'll see! :)

When did you ovulate? If you're 10dpo you could test again now. Heard lots of people say they got positives 10dpo. But if you're sensible with how expensive tests are, guess it's best to wait till Wednesday. Fingers crossed for you!

I didn't ovulate until CD21 @artemis2, don't lose hope 🙏🏻 currently 10dpo and BFN this morning ☹️ Hope to see some BFPs soon x

@artemis2 I actually have no idea when I ovulated! I'm guessing it was around CD20 which would fall in line with AF being due 14 days after. Yeah, I'm going to try my best not to test till Wednesday now, they are so expensive! And I've heard so many people say how many evap lines they get on ICs so it makes me not want to try them.
