I'm sure loads of you have seen the advert for Natural Cycles App on facebook or even prerolls on youtube.

Essentially you get a thermometer and an app and you track your cycle to see when you're fertile or not fertile and it is being billed as a contraceptive...

What are people's thought on it ?

I have used it, I found it ok.

FlapJackered · 05/07/2018 22:45

I am using it and really like it, it's clear and seems accurate so far. 👍🏻

blondeemily · 05/07/2018 22:53

I would love to give this a go but I suppose I'm not sure I feel I could completely trust it. Would like to hear others' experiences too!

CaptainGT · 06/07/2018 09:11

Found it ok... like you only sorta got pregnant? Or you only sort of trust it?

I was using it for a year as contraception and didn't get pregnant and now using it to try and get pregnant. They say that if used correctly it is as good as being on the pill.

CaptainGT · 06/07/2018 15:34

Wow. @FlapJackered can I ask were you DTD a fair amount? I'd be so worried about it if I was single.

FlapJackered · 06/07/2018 16:54

We were Dtd 2/3 x a week, although during the time I was fertile we would use a condom rather than abstain.

Mightymelon · 09/07/2018 08:37

I like it. My pms feels lots better when using it as a contraceptive and now I can really pinpoint ovulation and fertile days.

I’ve got a discount code for it somewhere if you bear with me and you would like it!

queenofkale · 09/07/2018 08:41

I used it this year to get pregnant. Got pregnant the first month but miscarried but then got pregnant within 2 months of trying again. I found it very good.

If you do want it here’s 10% off (because who likes to pay full price for anything when you don’t have to!)

Good luck and baby dust whatever you decide ❤️

@CaptainGT To answer your question I haven't got pregnant using it but I find it moves my ovulation date to suit itself, as I've got a short luteal phase and it can't seem to fit that into its algorithm. So I've got a 24 day cycle and ov on cd14 but it moves my ov back to cd12 to give me a longer LP. Ease of use etc it's good.

IWouldBeSuperb · 13/07/2018 07:50

I used it for a year to prevent pregnancy and then got pregnant on the first month we decided to try to conceive - so thumbs up from me!

CaptainGT · 19/07/2018 11:58

Wow basically all good reviews! I'm not sleeping with anyone atm and would still use condoms with any of my partners but it would be interesting to be off the pill for a while.

My doctor told me not to use it unless I didn’t mind getting pregnant. There are no peer reviewed studies of its efficacy.

Flj84 · 02/01/2019 17:40
