Just wanted to say Hello, I have been stalking and symptom spotting for the best part of a year so far, this will be our first baby. I had my last depo jab in May 2017 (never again) I was hoping to conceive pretty quickly but does anything ever go to plan! My cycles were absolutely crazy at first but started going back to normal around February, this is my second month where I have definitely ovulated so I have started charting and ordered some more OPKs to help me along the way. DP is getting overly keen on this happening sooner rather than later (I'm not complaining its nice to have someone who wants this as much as me, although he is getting impatient). I am currently 2DPO and won't be testing until the day AF is due as I got completely obsessed whilst I was coming off depo the first few months. Is anyone else here around the same mark as me and TTC their first? Need some TTC friends as were trying to keep it a secret (well I am to keep the pressure off, DP has already told the MIL - so cute that hes so excited love him)

Hello!
I'm currently also on cycle 11 (mc in September TTC since May '17) I'm probably going to ovulate in the next couple of days so not that far behind you! I'm also TTC my first Smile

iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay · 05/07/2018 13:24

Hey! so sorry about your mc, hopefully this is both of our lucky months Grin

I hope so! Although I would really hate being pregnant in this weather! What are you using to track your ovulation?

iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay · 05/07/2018 13:32

I've been just using the flo app whilst my periods have regulated themselves but I started charting at the start of this cycle and the flo app was bang on with the ovulation date this month, I had some OPKs delivered so if this isn't my month I'm a bit more prepared for next cycle. How are you tracking? are you taking any herbal remedies or anything to help you?

We are TTC our first!
I am 31, ttc cycle #1 for baby #1, came off the pill about 4 months ago and cycle has been regular since but only just started trying (were going to wait til Sep to start but I couldn't). I had depo a few years ago, I hated it too!!

I am 4dpo and going crazy! Only managed to DTD once (on O day according to Ovia) but never got a strong positive from the opks. Also my partner is 43 so if we got pregnant from doing it once I would be VERY surprised!

Only my sister knows we are trying! I was thinking of testing at 12dpo but it's Friday the 13th!!

DaisyMay25 · 05/07/2018 13:42

@tollie00 when I got pregnant we only DTD once! Maybe that's the secret to it!

@iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay I'm currently using clearblue digital advanced opks, they're expensive but worth it I think. I currently take folic acid (that's the most important one) vitamin d, magnesium and b6, each month I look at something new. I even eat pineapple core for the six days following ovulation. I'm going to start raspberry leaf tea soon too and next cycle I'll be looking into seeds. I swear the more time that goes by the crazier I get!

tollie00 · 05/07/2018 13:50

@DaisyMay25 Sorry to hear about the MC :( hope you're having some fun this week and this month is your month!

iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay · 05/07/2018 13:51

Glad I'm not the only one going crazy lol, every little thing I'm like ooh I wonder if that's implantation, luckily I came off depo to start trying around this time but we got ahead of ourselves and were hoping it would happen sooner. So so hoping its my lucky month. I'm 25 and my fella is 23, gonna try my hardest to wait to test until AF due date! Praying for us all ladies Smile

DaisyMay25 · 05/07/2018 13:58

@tollie00 I'm hoping it's my month because it'd be due in April and DH and I both have April birthdays so would be nice!

@iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay haha I know that feeling, I'm getting better at not symptom spotting though but I'm terrible for testing early, I start testing at 8dpo haha

I just took another test and got a static smiley so looks like ovulation will be tomorrow so we'll all be testing around the same time!

tollie00 · 05/07/2018 14:18

@iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay hehe yes same, did have some cramps today which felt a bit unusual but impantation is 7-12 dpo I think?? During which time I'm sure I'll be like OMG WAS THAT IT every 5 minutes.

@DaisyMay25 Yes would be so nice to have a spring baby! Pregnant during cooler months and then a baby old enough to enjoy the summer with!

iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay · 05/07/2018 14:48

@daisymay25 My birthday is April too so heres to hoping for April babies! and to be honest I'm not sure I would be able to cope through summer heat whilst pregnant lol I moan enough as it is without being hot or hormonal!
@tollie00 I am exactly the same, had some trapped wind earlier and i'm googling symptoms like a crazy lady haha!

tollie00 · 05/07/2018 15:44

@DaisyMay25 how many dpo do you usually test?

DaisyMay25 · 05/07/2018 16:31

@tollie00 exactly! April babies for all! Its just wishful thinker though. I'm terri me I test everyday starting 8dpo but I just use ics.

@iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay if I was pregnant right now there's no chance I'd be at work. Oh yay another April birthday! Fingers crossed for you too then

Depoisthedevil · 05/07/2018 22:18

@iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay

I had my last depo in march 2017 and my periods are still all over the place. Did you take anything to regulate yours. I'm going crazy. Tried seven seas ttc,vitex,maca. Am now trying high dose of vitamin Bs.
Im so depressed with it all.

iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay · 09/07/2018 09:54

I didn't take anything, at first I was taking Agnus Castus but I was then bleeding for weeks straight and then not bleeding for 7 weeks and so doc told me to stop messing with everything and that if after 6 months it hasn't come back naturally they will do something, eventually it did come back, now I am just taking the Seven seas TTC. Have just booked to see my GP on the 25th (first available appointment) to see if they can help me as after 11 months its getting me down and I can't think about anything else! Even had a crazy weird dream last night that I was full term pregnant and all of my friends were rubbing cocoa butter into my stomach, very strange lol!

@iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay

Yeah I dont know if I'm doing more harm than good by taking all these different things.
My periods are a 28 day cycle followed straight by a 14 day then 28,14 and so on. So don't even know if I would be ovulating or not. Have tried opks but not very good with them as I can't hold my pee or need a drink lol.

iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay · 10/07/2018 11:50

@depoisthedevil
I carry an OPK in my pocket to work every day and then when I go for my 2nd wee of the day use it then to test, If I've drunk a bit to much water or tea in the morning I may do another when I get home from work, they are so worth doing even to just get an idea if you are ovulating and when, I think I got 60 for £8 from amazon. If your cycles still haven't regulated after all this time maybe you should see your GP, even if they give you the pill to take for a month to regulate your cycles? xx

Depoisthedevil · 10/07/2018 13:18

@iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay
I have been to the doctors twice and they did blood test but only really to check thyroid and fsh and stuff. They don't do progesterone levels there you have to go to fertility clinic for that and they said to just wait a bit longer before getting referred there.
See if I can get any luck with the opks this month.
xx

iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay · 10/07/2018 13:28

I would be pushing to be referred to the fertility cliinic, if I don't get my bfp this month its my plan to request a referral, hopeful that I won't have to at the moment Smile

OP posts:
Depoisthedevil · 10/07/2018 13:33

@iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay

Hopefully you get your bfp before you get reffered.

Feeling so positive today I never symptom spot as I think it would drive me crazy but I had this huge pinch feeling last night, woke up this morning to a huge glob of snotty stringy sticky cm (sorry tmi), which has now gone away and back to creamy so I'm hoping this is a good sign! I have 2 FRER so think I'm going to test friday morning, how are you all feeling?

OP posts:
DanniFlowers · 11/07/2018 15:41

Hi ladies, hope it’s alrifht to join in the conversation! Hope you all get your bfp’s!!!!!
I come off the pill in the beginning of May,
Had a period at the end of May and again in the beginning of June. Still awaiting a period and none so far yet, so it’s been over a month just have been thinking my body is just sorting itself out that’s why I haven’t had one yet, but been having some “pregnancy” symptoms like nausea, sore nipples and I’m so gassy lately and I’m never like it. Did a test Monday and it said negative😩 though this morning I’ve had some white milky cm (sorry tmi) so don’t know what’s going on with my body at the minute, going to test again at the end of the week!
