I hope this is okay to post here! Sorry if it's tmi!

I had a mc 5 weeks ago. I tested very faintly positive 2 weeks ago so they did an internal scan and said all was gone etc. They did a urine test then too and said that was negative. However they only used a cheaply and I had been using early frer.

Last night I had some slight bleeding so I thought it must be my first period since the mc starting. However the blood was slightly brown and stopped after an hour. Today I wore a pad and had brown bleeding but again not even enough to fill half a pad. I thought this was unusual for my period and I was expecting more as had been told period after a mc would be heavy and quite crampy. Anyway when I got home the bleeding had stopped and I have no idea why but I decided to do a test. I can see a faint line, it's definitely there and definitely pink (did another test to check not indent etc).

Just went to the loo and now have slightly redder bleeding (looks more fresh if you see what I mean).

Has anyone had anything like this?? I don't know what to think or feel. It's so soon since my mc and I don't understand what is going on. Could this be a chemical? Or is it residual hormones?

Any experiences or advice would be fab :-) you ladies were saints helping me during my mc :-) hoping you can reassure me now :-)

Hi there firstly sorry to hear of your loss it is sad and I've been there.

I guess the answer is it could be any of those things. We're you dtd during the last month, do you know when you ovulated i.e. Is it possible you could be pregnant(... I'm assuming so hence your post)...?

Perhaps give it a day or two and see what happens, if you're still getting a faint positive I would probably go back to gp . Or perhaps if will develop into a more normal period and next week you will get a negative test properly.

It's really hard As there is no straight answer, it does take a little time for our bodies to recover, but chemical or very very early mc's are also incredibly common.

It could be the remains of the last pregnancy, or a new pregnancy or a new pregnancy which is s chemical.

I'm sorry, but only time will tell.
