ivf first found

im 24 and im currently going through my first round of ivf, everything has been going text book really up until now. on my last scan i had about 22-29 follicles on each ovary but when i went for my scan today only 2 of those had got big enough, so my problem now is do i go a head and do the trigger shot and do egg collection on wedneday with best case collect 2 eggs worst case none or ... do i keep doing menopoure and stims then re scan wednesday and see if more than 2 have gone over the line but this could mean that the 2 that are already over the line could be lost !! then i would end up with none or potentically could end up with the 2 that are there plus more !

im waiting for a phone call from one of the head doctors to call me and see what he would recommend then i will go from there.

i know you only need one but it has really got me down today :(

has anyone been in the situation or know of anyone ?

You really need to rely on your docs for this, I'm afraid... I had loads that weren't growing and they upped my dose. But with that number of follicles, I'd reckon they may be reluctant to do so...

hey @physicskate i have upped my dose to 3 viles of menopoure at the evening and still doing injection of cetratide in the morning i have another scan wednesday to see if my follicalshave grown and hopefullly EC Friday
