Hi Ladies!
I'm new here.

Currently TTC baby #2, and I'm losing my mind here trying not to symptom spot this cycle. AF arrived June 1st, lasted 5 days and I'm pretty sure I ovulated on June 25th (long cycle, I know!). I'm currently 7 dpo (I think), and I've had so much CM over the past 2-4 days (Sorry TMI). It's like white, but also wet, and slightly stretchy, and there is tonnes of it!! I've also been really tired for the past two days, and I'm more emotional and irritable than when the wicked witch is here lol.

So today, I gave in and decided to chance doing a test (even though I know it's early), and I'm probably imagining it, but I feel like I can see the faintest line (tried to attach a pic but can't because I'm new here lol). But I'm probably just so desperate to see it that my mind is imagining it though.

Any opinions? Anyone else in the same boat? Sorry for going on so long lol, just didn't know where else to talk about this, and figured some of you may understand.

@Leopardeyes91 welcome to Mumsnet! Yeah there's quite a few of us in the TWW at the moment over on the July Bus. I'm 10dpo and had a negative yesterday (to be expected though that early lol). Now trying to resist until Wednesday to test again (12dpo). Personally I don't trust squinters. If you have to look too hard you can't trust you're eyes so I don't over analyse the tests. I think, until you get a line that's easy to spot, don't believe it. Too many dye runs, indents and evaps. I'd test again in a couple of days and if there was a line it should be more obvious. I'm on cycle 10 ttc and within that have had 1 mc at 8 weeks and x2 chemical pregnancies one in Dec and other may.

Took a test Saturday morning which I knew was very early but was going to a wedding so just incase. Was bfn.

Feeling awful today like af is about to rear it's ugly head but I'm not due on until 9th.

Trying not to get down about it but thinking of buying a first response today for the morning. According to my bbt chart I ovulated on 21st so currently 11dpo so will be 12dpo tomorrow.

I agree with @HidCat about squinters. My doctor told me about evap lines which I never knew about so even if I had a squinter I'd be unsure anyway until I got a clear PREGNANT on my fertility monitor

Thanks for replying so quickly Ladies. It took me much longer than I care to mention to figure out how to reply on these threads haha! Sorry.

I hadn't actually heard about evap lines before.. but after a lot of googling, I believe that's what it may have been. This TWW scenario is so hard! I'm now about 9/10dpo, and I'm resisting the urge to do another test until 12dpo. If that turns out to be BFN, then I'll wait until AF is due next week and test again if she doesn't show.

I really hope you both get your BFP result soon! Keep me updated.. I hope I get mine soon too. x
