Short luteal phase - when to test?

I usually have a 8/9 day luteal phase. Currently 10dpo, had lots of cramps that felt like my period was coming on 8dpo but nothing has arrived yet. Feeling strange but I know that any symptoms I have could just be my period coming up.
I have got 1 frer but I am nervous about taking it yet incase it's negative, although I am technically 'late' does it really could untill I'm 14dpo? I've never been this far without having a period.
Don't really know what I'm hoping to get out of this post 😂 I know nobody can tell me whether I'm pregnant or not, I'm just feeling confused, hopeful and nervous! Haha

Your LP doesn't change much just when you ovulate can vary so if you definitely know you've ovulated and you're late for your period it's a good time to test 🤞 Good luck to you let me know how it goes 😊🌼

Thanks ladies, might test in the morning as I'll be technically 2 days late, but still 11dpo.. if not I will test on Tuesday

Ah never mind I've just started spotting, period will start in the night now, better luck next month ay haha
