I'm gonna sound so thick but is this positive? If so does it mean I have ovulated or I'm about to ovulate. It's been a long while since I had my children so all this ovulation and TTC has slipped my mind. If we DTD early hours am I in with a chance of conceiving after getting this result today? Im only a bloody night shift tonight... typical

It's not quite positive but I reckon definitely by the end of the day. It is detecting a lh surge which tells your ovary to release the egg so you haven't ovulated yet. Probably in the next day or so.

Oh and early hours will be ideal :)

Early hours last night/this morning we DTD but I'm working tonight. Am I out? Thanks for your reply! X

Definitely not. Sperm can last a few days and it's better for them to be waiting in the tubes anyways for the egg. Good luck!

@juneybean thank you so much for your help. Going to be a long two weeks 😆

@juneybean I'm gonna drive you crazy now. But when testing with OPKs I always do one about mid day and then another around this sort of time. I just done my evening one which is so faint it's unreal. Does this mean I've already ovulated?

Bottom one was done at lunch time today. Top was done this evening

Bottom one looks positive to me.

It doesn't mean you've yet ovulated though but you are going to very soon. If the bottom was done at lunchtime you'll ovulate between 12-36 hours after that. So from midnight tonight to midnight tomorrow so I'd count tomorrow as ovulation day :)
