TTC after nexplanon

I had my nexplanon implant removed last week. The GP informed me that fertility can return quickly and I could fall pregnant before having a period. I have a couple of questions about this - firstly, has anyone fallen pregnant that quickly straight after the implant or is aware of how soon they ovulated once it was out? Secondly, if I should fall pregnant with no period, how would they date the pregnancy up until the 12 week scan - from when the implant was taken out?

Hi @KatnissK I had my implant taken out 16/05 and had similar questions to you.
Everyone seemed to have different stories about timings of periods/ovulation/bfp so as infuriating as it is I think it's down to each individual. I was pretty pissed off because I didn't get any of that information at the clinic.
Here is my data:

Implant out 16/05
Period returned 19/06
Ovulation any day now 🤞

Thanks Bas! Yes there really isn't much info at all - doc just said to start taking folic acid as it could happen at any time. Guess I will just have to wait and see what happens. Hope you get your bfp soon!

I had mine removed 6th December, first period 12-16th December and I’m now 22 weeks pregnant!
