Hey everyone,

I'm currently trying to conceive but had a very light positive result this morning, you couldn't see the line unless you looked very closely but something was definitely there, however when I took a digital one 2 hours later it came back negative so I'm feeling pretty confused right now has anyone had similar experiences?

How many dpo are you op?

Yakadee · 29/06/2018 14:26

I think the digitals aren't as sensitive as some of the other tests. I didn't get a positive on a digital for several days after I got a positive on a frer x

Congratulations by the way x

Hello StarI'm not completely sure when I ovulated but I am around 8 days late for my period now and still no sign of my period yet...

@Yakadee Thank you! I'm still not quite believing it though, it's taken 8 years with severe fertility issues, I'll wait until I get a more clearer positive result before I get too excited, I feel like it's too good to be true. And now I'm totally driving myself crazy if the line was an actual line or a problem with the test.

If you’re 8 days late for your period that would be odd if a digital didn’t show up, but it does happen. It may be that you perhaps had a chemical pregnancy (where the egg was fertilised but the pregnancy didn’t work out vv early) so you may have had a trace of pregnancy hormone in which one test picked up but the digital tests weren’t sensitive enough. I think go out and get a first response early results - one of the most sensitive tests. And that will hopefully give you a clearer answer

If you don’t know when you ovulated it might have been later then in which case you may just not have enough detectable hormone for digital yet! Def get ansensitive test - all fingers crossed for you!!!

@Firsttimer16 I was thinking that also. I have had a chemical before back 4 years ago.ill test again in the morning. Fingers crossed.
