Hi. TTC. I'm 16DPO and no sign of AF yet. 2 days late. Tested this morning and got a BFN. My temp is still high. Temp showed ovulation on cd14. Is there still hope if I test in a few days again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Definitely! Particularly if your temperature is still high. Sending lots of baby dust!

Verbena87 · 29/06/2018 17:33

Yes, definitely worth leaving it a few more days and testing again, especially with elevated temp. Good luck!

AnneLovesGilbert · 29/06/2018 17:34

Keep temping and hopefully you’ll get your BFP. Good luck!

Thank you everyone. Got so demotivated this morning. Now feeling a little excited. My temp definitely went up this morning. I'll wait maybe until Sunday and give it another chance. Thank you so much.

Did test today and BFN. Temp still above coverline. I have attached my chart up to this morning. Should I go see Dr. I'm sort of thinking to rather go to gyne and find out what's for what. Instead if waiting another six months of this. It's to stressful and costs money to do tests month after month.

Can you account for the dip on the 24th? And are your luteal phases normally long? In my experience doctors are pretty dismissive of charts (after all, it’s not like we known how our bodies work or anything Angry), but you could make an appointment and take them along anyway. Good luck.

Hi. The dip was just there. Didn't do anything out of the ordinary and took temp the same time as usual. I normally have a 28 day cycle. It's the first month temping but have been trying since Jan. Taking day 14 as my ovulation day like Dr said. My Dr said temping isn't the best I should use ovulation kits. I did this past cycle and got negatives the whole time. Fertility friend showed ovulation with my temping. I have heard good things about the gyne I want to see when it gets to fertility. I would like to get her opinion to make sure everything is OK. I'm also stressing about age and I'm also Hiv + which makes me want to know if things are OK so I can not waste time. My health is good. Just don't want to waste time and I get older and older. My pills I'm on make it hard to see symptoms. As the symptoms are pretty much pregnancy symptoms that I have had for seven years now.i don't want to stress. I'm blabbing now. I don't talk about TTC with anyone but my hubby as everyone always has something negative to say about my status and it stresses me out. They don't understand Hiv. And put there fears onto me. I don't know what to do. Should I keep testing?

My Toni Weschler book is with a friend at the moment and it’s a while since I’ve charted so I’m not sure. Id see your doctor and talk to them about TTC as it sounds as if you’re on medication which I guess could affect fertility (especially if you’re not getting positive ovulation strips), and may also need adjusting if you do conceive. Maybe make a list of questions you’d like answered before you go.

You can also get a blood test at the doctors for pregnancy, which I think is more accurate/sensitive than a home test, so you could ask for one?

Sorry not to be more useful, wishing you lots of luck.

Thank you. I actually see another of ladies TTC read that book. I'll go this week and see if I can find it here. Thank you for your help. I appreciate your help. It's nice to be able to talk to ladies that are in the same boat. I'll make a list of questions. I like that. Make sure I cover everything. Thank you. If anything does happen I'll post. Just to share my TTC story. Many blessings to you.

At this far overdue, I think even the worst GPs will probably be willing to do a blood test for you. Sounds like a good plan to see the gyne too though. Good luck!
