Undetectable hcG?

Not had AF since 19th April. Never missed before unless pregnant. Before i realised id missed AF i just felt pregnant, had lower back ache, lower cramping, increased discharge the list goes on and probably the only pregnancy symptom i didnt get was the nausea. All urine tests negative so visited GP for bloods. Serum HcG undetectable definately not pregnant but FSH slightly elevated.

Im only 42 and the doctor said im probably starting to be pre menopausal. 😔 i wasnt even trying for another child so i dont know why im so upset at this. I still am having pregnancy symptoms like lower back ache, cramping, bloating, gas, heartburn, flushes, very emotional and just crying for no reaaon and still no AF. Weird that this all followed a very unusual episode of unprotected sex just a week or so before AF was due in May. sorry for long post but very confused and feel a little crazy as my mind and body tells me im pregnant. Anyone else experienced this?

I'm going through something very similar now. I already have 5 children so know what it feels like to be pregnant (total 10 pregancies). I'm currently one week late, that's unheard of for me. I had a 4-6 hour period of spotting just over a week ago (I assume was implantation bleed) and I feel as I did with a lot of the other pregnancies. I have dull back ache, waves of nausea and that pulling feeling in my lower abdomen. However, a handful of various tests, including the FR super sensitive one, have all come back negative.
Now, for me, negative is good news but I'm worrying as I 'feel' pregnant.
I am very close in age to you so know that these blips may happen but it doesn't stop the concern.
I'm right here with you but don't have answers.

With you both but sadly without answers too - only difference is however I've never been pregnant previously so though everything in my being is telling me I am I can't confirm what it actually feels like!

It seems to be one thing after another with me lately. I noticed my boobs were feeling fuller and those little bumps had appeared more raised. On Monday whilst undressing for a bath i noticed a lump in my left breast close to the nipple. Quite a pronounced lump that id have surely noticed. Anyway, visited doctors today for examination and shes urgently referred me to the breast clinic for further investigation but she seems to think its probably just a cyst. Maybe all linked? Hormones? I dunno but ive felt so fatigued these past few days and wanted to just do nothing only lounge around sobbing. Also felt like i could eat a cow lol Similar to being premenstal but AF never shows up. Im gonna do a happy dance when it finally arrives

Likely linked to hormones, try not to worry. Hope all goes well at the breast clinic for you

Possibly an anovulatory cycle, it sounds hormonal. I had a cycle like this last year at 40 and had similar symptoms, most disapointing as we were trying!

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Cleozeta you say you were trying last year, any luck?

A few months ago I wouldn't have even imagined wanting another child but all this has made me now want to try for another, especially the fact that I'm in a new relationship with a guy who has no kids. He has said he's not really that bothered about having kids but will if I want another. Trouble is, ttc might be a bit difficult as he lives in Sweden and I live in the UK and he probably won't be moving over here until next year.

I did get pregnant in March but it sadly ended in mmc, so trying again now.
If you do want to try I'd do it sooner rather than later as it does get harder year by year as we get older. Although obviously difficult in your current situation, it's worth knowing.
Come and join the over 40 ttc thread on this board, there are lots of other ladies in similar sutuations and everyone is really supportive

Aww no I'm sorry to hear that happened to you.

I might head over there for a look thanks :-)
