Chemical pregnancy, but still feeling pregnant!

I had a positive HPT last Thursday, the following day I had heavy bleeding and when I did another test it came back negative. The bleeding only lasted until Saturday, I had some mild cramps and pains in my stomach. I had a telephone appointment with the doctor on Monday for advice, she told me it was a chemical pregnancy and nothing to worry about. However I still have really bad nausea, weird sensations in my stomach and I feel constantly light-headed. Is this normal?

These are signs of pregnancy for some... have you done another test since the last negative?

I did a cheap strip test this morning and it came back negative, it feels like the symptoms are getting worse as the week goes on every time I eat anything I feel so bloated!

Is it stressing you out? I had this last year and the only thing that really put my mind to rest was a blood test. I even thought I had morning sickness and was waking up feeling I was going to puke 🤢

Yep, I feel like I’m going mad! Keep thinking I’m imagining it but there’s no way I am do you think it could just be my body going back to normal?

I am not sure if this will help. I didn't really realise what a 'chemical pregnancy' was so I am learning along the way.

I would say with a shift in hormones etc that it is normal for you to be feeling the way you are. X

I felt horrible and could hardly walk in a straight line after my last chemical. Got a bfp a few days ago but the line stopped getting darker, so expecting another one... fucking gutted as I imagine you are... ttc since April 1 2016. This was my first round of ivf...
