Brown period

So cd55 I finally got my period but it only lasted 3 days and was just dark brown- really light flow and no red blood whatsoever - should I be worried or is this normal from time to time?

Well, brown normally indicates old blood rather than fresh so could be implantation....

The occasional brown period is normal - I had one earlier this year much as you describe. We were going through IVF planning at the time so I asked my consultant gynae about it and she said not to worry, perfectly normal most women will have one like this occasionally. The next months AF was perfectly normal 😊

So just had another period cd28 this time (so at least thats a positive!)but again its brown only and lasted just 3 days. Mentioned it to my doctor whilst discussing something else but he was dismissive. Any other ideas as to what could be wrong?
