Hey ladies!!
I feel really confused!
After TTC for almost 7 months now, we have tried using pre seed, tracking ovulation etc.. these past 2 weeks I've had almost all the pregnancy symptoms, from feeling nauseous to aching muscles, heartburn, sore boobs, Lower tummy pain, I've been counting down the days until AF is due to make an appearance but I'm so impatient! I don't want to get my hopes up for them to come crashing down when I eventually do come on! I have 5 days left before I'm due on so thought I'd start a thread to try and occupy my mind! I'm worrying as I've had a few pregnancy symptoms before, but ended up coming on and was told it was a 'phantom pregnancy' :( really hoping for a miracle!

Someone on this board (rather bluntly) told me there are no symptoms in the 2ww that couldn't just as easily be your period coming. It sort of upset me at the time, but I'm much happier since I took that advice on board. You drive yourself mad otherwise.

@kitkatsky Yeah I think I may need to take this on board, I'm googling things every single day and it really is taking up my days! I'm constantly feeling things and jumping on google telling myself they're 'pregnancy symptoms 🙈

I do understand lovely. Sitting here with horrific period pains and no blood yet and telling myself not to google as it's just my period! It's hard sometimes. X

@kitkatsky let's hope for a miracle hun. I've got another 5 days to wait and see if I come on xx

I tend to agree with @kitkatsky to be honest. The month I fell pregnant I had no real 'symptoms' at all so told myself I couldn't be. The wait is a killer. I have no real advice other than to try and keep yourself busy and try if you can not to Google anything. You either end up feeling disappointed or over excited before you even know the result. Good luck!

beccalou27 · 26/06/2018 13:56

@mrsb06 thank you for the advice! Yeah I really do need to do something else to occupy my mind, it's literally all I think about, even to the point my hubby is getting annoyed with the constant baby talk! He keeps telling me not to get my hopes up. It's just so hard. 🙈 x

My husband was the same. Do you work? What do you do during the day to keep you occupied?

beccalou27 · 26/06/2018 14:31

@mrsb06 I'm a teaching assistant in a reception class. So that don't help being constantly surrounded by younger children x

My pregnancy and period symptoms have always been the same. It's really hard to not get excited but you just need to not symptom spot and keep yourself occupied. Definitely easier said than done xx
