I see it Grin congrats!

mamahanji · 25/06/2018 21:15

Oh dear. Partner is going out to buy a better test. I have the coil and 2 kids young 😱

Hmm there is a shadow there but these tests are notorious for giving faint ‘positives’ when really the tests are just, well, crap! Pink dye tests all the way. Good luck x

sexnotgender · 25/06/2018 22:15

I see a faint line but I'd buy a FRER.

mamahanji · 25/06/2018 23:05

Ive got a negative clear blue. No first responses available this late.

The more I look at it, the more I can see it but it isn't blue.

I'm praying it is a shadow. Another baby wouldn't be a good thing right now and I don't want to deal with the alternative 😔

OP I had a blue dye tesco test once with a line like that. I wasn't pregnant but my god did I panic (wasn't the right time). Grab another type of test today to compare.

mamahanji · 26/06/2018 12:55

I think I'll wait a couple of days and do a first response.

If there's no line then it's safe to say it was a shadow.

OP posts:
mamahanji · 27/06/2018 12:34

This is the first response.

Don't know if it's in my head or not but I'm pretty sure that is completely negative.

Positive?

I see it, but blue dye tests are notorious for evaps/false positives. I've gotten one myself off of one of those.

I'd get a First Response test to confirm! Fingers crossed for you!

CobaltRose · 27/06/2018 12:46

Yes, that First Response looks negative to me. But it might be too early!

MotherofKitties · 27/06/2018 12:58

Shine a light/torch behind it and if the line is still there it's a positive (most likely).

I had a false positive with clear blue a few weeks ago and took multiple days afterwards which all said negative; I think clear blue can leave very misleading evap lines so I won't be using it again! Hope you get the result you want xx

mamahanji · 27/06/2018 13:12

The clear blue were both completely negative. The Sainsbury's cheapies were both faint but definitely there. The first response is negative.

I definitely don't want to be pregnant right now so I'm optimistic that the Sainsbury's were just crap tests!

Hopefully @justabitloopy will think before she posts next time.

justabitloopy · 27/06/2018 14:11

Because OP was going to base everything on my post? I think not @JustVent
A question was asked...

JustVent · 27/06/2018 14:45

And the answer is yes or no.

Congratulations? Really? You can break hearts in this forum with that word. I wish people would engage their brains.

mamahanji · 27/06/2018 15:05

I'm sorry justabitloopy

I imagine most people posting are wanting bfps. I wasn't clear that I wasn't one of them!

Was just too nervous and panicked to write the whole situation out.

justabitloopy · 27/06/2018 17:03

Don't worry @mamahanji it ok. Usually those posting in conception are ttc.
