Changing cycle length

I'm not sure anyone can advise on this, but need a rant. Been TTC for a year after getting pregnant very easily with DD (different partner though) Since I stopped taking the pill my cycles have been 28 days exactly and I ovulate exactly on day 14. The last 2 months my cycle has been 30 days so I've had the eek, id best test only for it to be negative. I'm now on day 31 and no period but I don't feel pregnant- I knew with DD. Don't want to waste money on another negative test, just a bit fed up that I've gone from a regular, predictable cycle to a bit of a floopy one (I know it's not that bad compared to some) Just fed up of getting hopes up really! Sorry, don't need replies, just to get it out

Hi kikatsky. Sorry to hear your difficulties, it's a shock when you're used to get pregnant easily isn't it? The good news is that apparently cycle length changes are worse when they get shorter; it means your body is speeding things up because your ovarian reserve is declining. So don't panic!

You could well be pregnant, no symptoms doesn't really mean anything!

Thanks @PoppyJ1. That's reassuring. I might test this evening if I still haven't come on, though am sure I've tempted fate just by writing this post!
