Hi all, got this result this morning but the line went away after about 5-10 min? Was a poundland test. Any thoughts?

unicorncow · 24/06/2018 15:22

Did the line completely disappear?

BasicUsername · 24/06/2018 15:26

That looks like a pretty clear positive to me!

You can't consider what happened after 5-10 minutes later, as that's when evaporation lines come in to play.

If that is the result when you checked after the stated time on the test, then it's a positive.

Congratulations! Grin

It looks to me like the urine has got trapped between the plastic cover and the test strip, which looks like a line but then disappears as it dries. I’d test again.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 24/06/2018 21:18

My first early positives with my fourth pregnancy looked like that. A frer confirmed it 2 days later.

JustVent · 25/06/2018 11:12

That’s dye run, not a positive test.

And if the line disappeared it proves it was just dye running across the test.

Sorry OP.
