What could be going on with me?!

Hi, DH and I have been TTC for a few months now. My af is usually fairly regular but this month it arrived 10 days late, and when it did arrive it only lasted for 1 day and I only needed to use 1 tampon, (normally it lasts 3 days). For a couple of days after that I had barely-there-evidence of blood when wiping after peeing- sorry TMI! It's now 6 days after the "period" arrived and my nipples are still very tender which is unusual for me. I just did a clear blue test and it came back negative. Would anyone be able to tell me what is going on!?

It might be worth trying a FRER? Pink dye tests are more sensitive than blue.

Do you mean a pic of the type of Clearblue that I used or the results of my clearblue test? Is it possible to upload pics here? Sorry, I am new to this!

Was there actual bright red blood in your period? If so, it's unlikely you're pregnant.

If there wasn't red blood, buy a cheap supermarket test. If it's still negative after a week and still no AF, you should probably consult your GP. Best of luck! :)

Thanks ladies. I actually didn't pay much attention to the colour of the blood as I just thought it was just AF, but then when I removed the second tampon and there was no blood on it I was confused!

I noticed yesterday and this morning that two cold sores have tried to come up and I usually only get them just before my period and yet I'm not run down at all, sleeping more than usual in fact, so it seems if I'm not pregnant something is up! Nipples still tender, have been more tired than usual this past week.
