Shit. Expensive bit of fun at a pinch... I wish they would ban the bloody things. Use it after a missed period could probably be accurate as with other tests

CheesecakeAddict · 22/06/2018 20:01

Mine have always been accurate but I've only used them after a missed period. I think frers are supposed to be much better

LawDegreeBarbie · 22/06/2018 20:18

I've only ever used them to confirm a FRER after a missed period but they're supposed to be shit before a missed period. Clear Blue early non digital are notorious for false positives. I reckon CB are just crap.

Missed period two days ago, stuck in Spain with nothing but a clear blue and worried about taking it and seeing a negative

I believe clear blue digital is 50mui. The most sensitive are 10mui.
Personally an eBay cheapie or answer pregnancy test gave me positives much sooner than clear blue digi and it took two weeks to get a positive. I understand internet cheapies aren't really a solution whilst on holiday x good luck

MotherofKitties · 22/06/2018 23:26

I've just had a false positive with clear blue so I'd take whatever result you get with a pinch of salt.

How do I know it's a false positive? Because I've since taken 6 x subsequent tests of different makes, digital and non-digital and all negative. Hope you get the result you want OP xx

It’ll most likely be fine if you’ve missed your period :) if negative test again after 48 hours as hormone levels can still be quite low in the first week after a missed period.

winterwarmers · 23/06/2018 09:42

negative will wait till i'm home to retest
