Ovulation

I am doing clear blue ovulation tests...
I had 7 or 8 days of flashing smiley face and then it turned to a solid smiley face.
I thought I would test again and it is just flashing at me again. Does that mean that I have already ovulated?

Funny one op? I'd still make sure you're dtd now anyway to cover your bases. I used these nut that never happened to me. I did find them really good though, got my bfp last cycle xx good luck!

@Chelc - these types of tests aren’t supposed to let you test again for 48 hours after you get the sold smiley face- it’s supposed to remain in the display so if it’s let you test again immediately it might be faulty.

DTD anyway as it probably detected your LH surge correctly!

The flashing smiley face means that it’s detecting high oestrogen levels so it could also be showing you have high oestrogen for some other reason maybe?

ThankYou! Me too and yeah I decided to do another test on a different one that I didn't get the peak one on just constant flashing I know it sounds silly but been trying so hard to do things right. Never seems to end up going right lol. Fingers crossed!!xxx

Ah ok if it was a new test stick then it’s probably just still picking up high oestrogen levels that haven’t dropped yet if you’ve just ovulated. Your LH surge will be over though so you wont get the solid smiley again.

Ah yeah, that makes totally sense. It needs to build an understanding of your body / hormones. I bet the first one has detected the surge correctly x
