Line eyes - need a reality check!

Hi all, I’m 12dpo following cp last month and many months of trying before that. Had a bfn on frer this morning - however because I cannot just let it go - I looked again just now and I think I see the faintest line ever. But is this just an evap line? Is there any hope?! I really just need to swallow a huge chill pill don’t I..... argh!

Here is the non-inverted. I can barely see anything myself now I look at it!

I can see a very very faint line if I squint. Could be evap line. Couple more days and if it's a faint line you'll see it! Good luck!

Also it's been taken apart so not valid :(

Haha I've done it plenty of times even though I know as well.

I don’t understand why people say taking a test apart invalidates them. It makes it sound like you plan to return it to the manufacturer.

Likewise a positive test doesn’t become less positive just because you’ve broken open the plastic.

Same goes for smudge marks, dye run, evaps or just plain negative tests.

Invalidating the test is just a TTC forum myth.

OP, as for your test, I can see some marks but not enough for it to look like a positive. Possibly it’s indents.

Agree with Just, but I’m afraid I can’t see a second line.

I agree with Just too, if the line was there before you took it apart and you just took it apart to see it better, it doesn’t make the original line invalid.
I can see a very very faint line but it could be an evap. When you looked at it the second time was it after the time limit for reading the test?

I can quite clearly see a line on both

I have just done a clear blue, I can see a cross but it is fainter then any other results I have seen so far online?! Is this still a positive?

Thanks everyone - guess I’ll just wait it out a few more days (and another good few tests I expect...!)
I also don’t get why it invildates a test of you pull it apart!

I can see a feint line on the inverted one.

I also hate seeing the ‘invalidate’ comments - if the line was there to start with then opening the test up to look at it doesn’t mean that suddenly the line isn’t real? I don’t get it?

But anyway - I see both lines clearly but I think waiting 48 hours and testing again is probably advisable.

It’s the same as people who bang on about it being “illegal” for certain combinations of children to share bedrooms; They wildly extrapolate the meaning of something they’ve read.

When you pull apart at FRER 9 times out of 10 you'll have an evap line. Yours does look slightly pink though, good luck for retesting

I understand that unicorncow, but the OP saw the line before breaking at apart.

Just to update you - it was def an evap line (or a vv early CP) as AF started sadly. Onto the next month.

If a line is white, it's an evap line. There needs to be some colour for it to be positive.
