Urgent Advice Needed!!

I need some advice before i speak to my other half, I did a pregnancy test last weekwhich was positive,I did another test this morning just to be sure and it was negative what is going I thought the first wee of the day was the strongest, why was it negative , Am I pregnant or not I do not want to tell me partner until I know for sure not sure how he will react. Has anyone else experianced this before ?????

I haven't experienced this myself... can you test again tommorrow first thing? They say you can get a false negative but not a false positive, so my gut reaction would be to say that the later test was wrong... but you never know. I think your best bet woudl be to do another test yourself or go to your GP and get them to do a test for you. How long is it since your period was due???

I've only experienced this the other way round - got a negative, but I was testing 2 days before period was due, which you're not supposed to do! Then 4 days later got a positive.

I think you'll need to test again to be sure - try first thing in the morning tomorrow, or if you can bear to wait, do it in a couple of days time.

What stage in your cycle are you at? i.e. how late is your period?

Make a doctors appointment, it will be the only way you will trust the result.

Have you tested again, or made an appointment with the doctor.
