TTC after EP

I had surgery on June 4th and they took my left tube and it was advised we wait 2 cycles, but DH and I decided to let God work so were not waiting. We may be crazy for trying so soon after EP but we have been trying for 4 years and we are so ready for a baby of our own.

Are there any women out there TTC after EP with or without Tube removal surgery?

Has anyone conceived, if so how soon after and how long did you wait?

First of all, I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s a devastating thing to happen, loosing a pregnancy and then such a risk to your life is a scary situation to be in.

I lost my left tube and pregnacy in December 2016 and decided to wait a while as I was too emotionally drained to try again for a while. However I wish I had had stated TTC sooner as we’ve been trying again since June last year and nothing. So I’m starting to consider seeing my GP for tests. The surgeon said my other tube is healthy and I have no internal problems so I don’t know what’s wrong :(

I had a ruptured ectopic last year, I lost my left tube and we were advised to wait 3 cycles before trying again. At first all I wanted to do was get pregnant again, I was literally counting down the days and the waiting was awful!
We started trying again in Jan and it was only then that I realised that I wasn't ready earlier and still had a lot of anxiety and some healing still to do. It was devastating losing a much wanted baby and it was hard thinking about how close I had been to not being here.
This week we've found out I'm pregnant again, we're trying not to get too carried away and are just waiting till we are scanned to see if this little bean is in the right place, we hadn't been trying every month and I have long cycles, so probably 5th cycle of trying.
Your body has been through a lot and needs time to heal and as hard as it seems looking back I'm glad we followed advice and gave ourselves time to heal both physically and mentally. Sorry for your loss OP and good luck for the future Xx

Bobbino great advice, in hindsight, even though I’m struggling now, it was a good thing that I waited until I was healed both physically and mentally before TTC again. Congratulations on your bfp, it gives me hope 💐💐💐💐

NoNotheresnolyrics, Im so sorry that your struggling. I do hear what your saying about dealing with everything emotionally. Its been tough but it's getting easier. I really hope you get some good news soon. Even though most of the things I see on here are positive, its humbling to see some not so positive things. Im keeping my faith about this all but its always that little voice that reminds me of how hard it was the first time around and I pray it doesn't take another 4 years to conceive again. But again thank you, because I think I started to get ahead of myself thinking it would happen automatically.

My DH thinks Im going to get pregnant right away. We both hope that I do, but I have to keep in mind that I may not. Its really hard to even think about but Im going to keep praying and taking these prenatal pills and hopefully EVERYTHING will be awesome for all of us!
