Early pregnancy symptoms and a BFN....

Hi just wanting some opinions please...

I had IUI with donor sperm 14 days ago. Cycle was monitored, mature folicle and LH surge the day prior to treatment.

Symptoms over the last week have included:

Nipple changes ( darker larger areola, small spots appeared)
Vivid dreams
Tiredness
Increase in CM ( mostly watery and thin but with 'egg white' like consistency on some days)
Cervix feels high and soft.

Felt some cramping around the time I would gave expected implantation but no spotting.

I ovulated early in my cycle so AF is not due for a further 4 days..

Clear blue digital HPT done yesterday morning was negative

First response test done this morning is also negative.

I know I have been symptom spotting so wonder if I'm over thinking things..

My uterus feels "full" the way it feels ( for me anyway) during a period... that kind of dull ache ( not painful) feeling.

Am I daft to think there is a chance I could still get a positive test?

Any advice / opinion welcome....

No at all, some women get positives weeks after af was due. I had some of those symptoms and got my positive this month. Good luck xx

I'm half trying to convince my self it's just not happening this month and half in denial until I see AF...

Totally get it! I really hope this is it for you. I found this month in part I had the type of cm you describe, exactly the same x

If you ovulated early then AF will be due earlier by the same number of days. I tested negative until 2 days after AF due.

Yes AF might be due Sunday based on that theory... I've been a 28 day cycle to the letter all my life except a random 26 day cycle the month before last...

I know this sounds daft but I 'feel' different..so I was convinced that id get a BFP..

If I haven't had AF by Tuesday I'll test again..

I'm not sure? I was exhausted and had really sore boobs though. I was starting with backache too. That's not to say it's not a sign though. Keeping everything crossed x

I hope this is it for you. Its not over until af arrives. If you can hold off testing for as long as you can as you'll save the disappointment because it might just be too early.

I'm closely in the same boat as you , my partner and I had baby dance around same time and AF is due in 4 days . I am sure I have been having pseudo symptoms. I have been so tired with sore nipples, vivid dreams and no energy. I got a BFN today and was so disappointed. AF isn't even due yet so now I have to wait until then or next week to do another test . Let us know how you get on, the wait is so painful isn't it ?

Daniellebt, yes it sounds like we are both in the same boat. The wait is horrendous. I'm still trying to convince myself it's just not gunna happen this month but I know i do t truly believe that. I a bit of a research addict too which doesn't help... I've discovered that if I'm one of those ppl who take the 12 days to implant then a further 4-5 for hcg levels to be high enough to be detected then there is still a chance my BFP will come. Odds of this are slimmer... but someone has to fit that profile don't they...
I'll let you know how it pans out.

I think AF is coming... feeling really rubbish now :(
I've been having a very very small amount of brown sticky discharge since yesterday evening and throughout the day. It kind of reminds me of when my period is starting but it doesn't normally take this long to get into a proper flow.

Sorry for TMI...

I think I need to just accept it and move on.. gutted ...

Maybe next month will be our month x
