Hi,

Just after some advice really.

So, I’m currently on cycle day 68. Now, I have never been a 28 day cycle kind of person. When I got pregnant with my son (who is now 1) my cycles were around 33 days and I knew exactly when I was ovulating. Since having my son, my cycles have been much longer and we are now wanting to TTC. I started tracking my periods at the beginning of the year as we said we would start trying in June, and my periods have been around 43 and 44 days. I am now on cycle day 68 and just concerned that I’m not ovulating?? The month we decide we want to try and conceive, I don’t seem to be ovulating!! I have never been this long without a period. Is there a chance I can still ovulate on such a long cycle? Should I get some OPKs ?

Does anyone else have really long cycles but still ovulate?

I cant be sure I 100% ovulated but I had 2 positive OPKs this cycle on CD45 & CD46. so it's possible to get the surge at least! I guess I'll find out this week if I get a positive HPT or I come on my period.

if I come on, it's only my 3rd period of the year so I'm also struggling with long cycles, the last one being 69 days.

I'd say get some OPKs (I got 30 or so for a few pounds on ebay or amazon) and just keep testing!

if I ovulated last cycle I'd of Od around CD55 so 10 days later than this cycle.

I also took soy isoflavones CD3-7 of this cycle but I'm not sure if it would of done anything being as I took so long to get my O surge.

sorry if that was rambling!
