Morning ladies, hope you're all well?

I'm in the 2WW and due to give blood this week...would you do it??

Desperate for a BFP this month after a MMC in Feb...and don't want to do anything to make things go wrong again...!

I don’t see how it could impact anything at all - go for it

Ceebs85 · 13/06/2018 08:03

Absolutely not!

brianodriscoll · 13/06/2018 09:00

Argh this is like my brain!!

Nope

FutureFairyCrayon · 13/06/2018 09:58

Why on earth wouldn't you? Giving blood would have zero impact on a pregnancy at that stage.

Celebelly · 13/06/2018 10:17

I would.

frasier · 13/06/2018 10:21

Nope

Being in the 2WW isn't being pregnant. If you're like 5dpo you are not pregnant. If you're far enough into the 2WW that you might actually be pregnant then a test will show it and you can cancel.

Lol@“being in the 2WW isn’t pregnant”!

Dearie dearie me!

This is answered on their website:

Stupidly hadn't thought to look on their website. Not far enough into 2WW for anything to show even on a FRER.

Stupidly or not I would just feel like I needed every drop of my blood to give baby the best chance. I know its ridiculous but why risk it.

Angelmiracle · 13/06/2018 23:04

Af wipes me out with tiredness and light heads and I was on iron tablets with DS and needed a blood transfusion after labour so I personally would not.

I was turned down the 3rd time I went to give blood when they done the test before you donate.

But that's my choice.
