Ovulation tests

Hi guys! Just wondered if anybody else had the same problem as me..

My partner and I are ttc.
I’ve started to use one of those cheap ov tests strips from amazon.

Last month I used them and never got a positive but since last week I’ve been getting a strong positive line and I still am after 1 week??

Why am I still getting a positive is that normal or ?

I’ve also had the most horrendous cramping a few days ago it was so severe I was going to call an ambulance..

Have you done a pregnancy test? They can also pick up pregnancy hormones 😬

Have you tried taking pregnancy test ? Opks don't generally stay strongly positive for long but can show up pregnancy and cramps may have been implantation ?

I done a test today it came out negative:(

It's probably not- but consider and look out for signs of ectopic.

Has the test line been darker than the control line for a whole week?

It’s not darker than the control line but it’s still as dark as the first time I tested

Oh no need for concern then. It's only a positive for ovulation if the test line is darker than the control. It's normal to see both lines for quite a while but it's not a positive.
