So I’ve done it , I’ve booked in with a private fertility clinic .. £250 for the consultation ( I will think about the money later on the credit card bill Shock) I just can’t take my crazy mind anymore ...

The gps don’t care .

My fsh is a 10.
My tsh is 3.06
I have low progesterone too.

I’m hoping this is an easy fix !

I’m just so fed up...

Anyone else gone private to have a fertility test ! Says they may scan too which will cost extra Confused

Anyway just by booking this I feel like a little wait has been lifted off my shoulders and I should stop googling stuff now , sit back and let them look into it ! It’s next Monday... I cannot wait

@Wishescometrue will your gp not take these results into consideration for anything?

For low progesterone I think there's some cream you can purchase online.
I'm not sure what the other two mean (sorry)

I hope these are easy fixes for you though!

Good luck @Wishescometrue - hopefully they will offer you an AMH blood test and maybe an HSG scan to check your tubes aren’t blocked in any way. You’d struggle to get these off your GP but if you’re willing to pay for them they can give you a really good indicator of your chances of conceiving without medical intervention 😊

My gps are not very good , and I’m so done with them. I thought I would miss them straight out!! I’m feeling excited !

I tried the progesterone cream myself , it did reduce spotting down from 7 days to 3 days but still an extremely short lp. Thank you for replying . I just felt like I needed somewhere to say it :) x

Thank you! I see is that what the scan is for ? I’ve been so down about it I really don’t care about the money right now (as it’s hundreds of pounds - and affordable , obv if it’s thousands that would be a differnt story) but I will see what the initial consultation says . Thank you for your repose :) feeling really positive about it x

I’ve been there and know just how good it’s feels to feel like you’re actually doing something after months and months of ttc with no results. Be warned though - the tests themselves will only cost a few hundred pounds, but if the advice at the end is the you need to consider assisted conception you should be prepared to be thinking about spending thousands if you do want to go down that route.
