I dont want children as i have severe mental health problems And im not sure id cope.
I last had sex about 4-6 weeks ago with my partner of six years. Im very irregular as i have pcos so i havent had a period in a long while. Im constantly dizzy and lightheaded, feeling very hungry, think im peeing more. Ive broke out in spots on my face Which is unusual for me. This has been going on for nearly a week. Ive been feeling sick and vomited a couple times. Also having hot flushes. Could i pregnant? Help

Take a test.

Costacoffeeplease · 11/06/2018 11:34

Did you use contraception?

The only way you’ll know is to POAS

Tina77777 · 11/06/2018 11:36

Ive been too scared to take a test and my partner thinks im being silly. We dnt use contraception. Stupid i know but i asumed i couldnt get pregnant.

Why did you assume you couldn't get pregnant?

Tina77777 · 11/06/2018 11:39

Id not had a period in over two years. I know ive been stupid. I have a habit of burying my head in the sand i suffer from severe mental health disorders

Did he ejaculate inside you?
Just take a test. It’s the only way to stop all this tormenting yourself with ‘what ifs’. If you are pregnant and you really don’t want to keep it then I would strongly advise you sort out a termination sooner rather than later. I’ve had 2 in the past when I was much younger and it’s much harder to deal with the further on you are with the pregnancy. Please don’t bury your head in the sand with this

I’d say take a test. The symptoms do sound like pregnancy ones but it’s all anecdotal really and are very similar to those for menstruation. Take a test and if negative take another one in a few days. Are you using protection of any kind? If not and you really want to avoid pregnancy, start using something and if you don’t take the morning after pill.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 11/06/2018 11:42

Just seen that you don’t use contraception... you shouldn’t assume you can’t get pregnant. Take a test, figure out what you are going to do as you still have choices and then get onto some sort of contraception. Any time it fails take the morning after pill. Even condoms are better than nothing. I’m sat here thinking I’m pregnant (actually trying though) and having “symptoms” and my partner didn’t ejacate any of the times we had sex.

Firstly OP, I hope you get the support and help that you need at this difficult time.
You need to bite the bullet and take a test and the sooner the better really so you have plenty of time to assess your options if it comes to that and also to put your own mind at ease since you may be worrying about nothing.
If you haven't already, I'd also advise you to speak to a doctor about the fact you haven't had a period in a couple of years

Better scared and having an answer than being scared and not having an answer. Take a test!
