Trying to conceive with an 11 year age a gap

So a quick back story!! I have an 11 year old from previous relationship she is about to start secondary school come September! Me and her dad are not together there has been an uphill struggle with Dd dad as we are no longer together haven’t been for 10+ years!! Am married now and while it had been a bumpy 9 years with DH we are now happy and settled and thinking now the time to have our own Lo! We have tried on and off in the last 6 years but not a peep of a line! I am 33 and DH is 38 anyone else in a similar situation?? Haven’t really been for tests not sure I am ever going to be easy for that or I just give up and accept that this is our life! DH has no children of his own but has brought up DD as his since18months!

Just a question, what sort of methods are you using, as in opk's or temping etc?

Hi funky, erm I use opks on and off haven’t for a couple of months as I use the Ovia app as well which seems to pretty much be in line with what the opks were telling me aswell! What about you?

We are ttc with a 9 year age gap my son is from a previous relationship and dp doesn't have any kids we fell pregnant last may sadly lost due to ectopic been trying again since October but nothing yet, well had a chemical in Feb to be honest don't think we do it at the right times and some months we haven't bothered but this month got my opks at the ready on fertile week this week x

Sorry to hear that stee1!! Its such hard work isn’t it trying to stay positive and relax and do it at the right times! I get exhausted just thinking about it! When is everyone’s fertile week! MInes coming up Thursday onwards!

Mine starts from today negative opks so far will probably ovulate Friday/Saturday oh out Thursday evening so will need to jump on him when he gets home 🤣

lol well if that’s what you need to do go for it!! ! I’m trying to get my head in the game but have had a stressful few weeks and not feeling on the mood to jump on Dh!!
