At what point did I ovulate? TTC

My temp peaked CD15 at 9am, i then completed a clearblue opk and had the flashing (high fertility) smiley face. That afternoon at 3pm I tested again and got the solid smiley face which indicates peak fertility.

I read that ur temp rises the day after u ovulate but my temp CD16 dipped and has been up and down since. I am now CD 22.

Baffled to say the least 🤷🏽‍♀️ Worried I'm not ovulating?😔

I’m in the same boat . I’m on cd 21 and no temp rise (I’m using ovusense ) had positive opk cd 18 and freaking about no temp rise . I’m sure I have low progesterone but now I think I don’t even ovulate :(

It's so horrible not knowing whats going on. Doctors are so dismissive when u go to them with worries so i only go when completely neccessary.

I just found this article which is super interesting and explains what can cause low BBT.

Has kinda made me feel a lil better as i don't do much excercise havent been eating great and have been a lil stressed this month.

Oh wow thanks for that , that was an interesting read ... my temps have been so low , all below the 36.5.
I should be doing more exercise , I’ve been bike riding . Me of all people should know as I was a personal trainer , I exercised religiously but I’m in a rut and have been feeling so down thus not wanting to move my but!! But I guess that makes it worse .

I just want to scream !!! Arghhh!

I work 40hrs a week and have a 2 year old. She sleeps through the night most nights but thats hence the bad sleeping pattern lol

My temp dropped again this morning to 34.77°c / 94.59°f 🤦🏽‍♀️

I have a 2 year old too!!! Omgosh ha. How do I show you a photo of my graph?? Mine is just low low and low... I don’t really understand it to be honest . I’m using ovusense which temps every 5 mins through the night lucky enough and does an average so If my little one wakes it’s not an issue .

We only recently decided to have another and now I'm panicking my body aint working!

I use the Ava watch so as long as I hav 4 hours worth of sleep at any point before i plug in the retrieve data in the morning it works fine.

I also used clearblue ovulation test kit this month and had high fertility on CD 12, 13 and 14 and peak LH surge on CD 15. but what is weird is that my skin temp rose that morning before getting my LH peak surge and Ava suggests I ovulated CD15. so baffled 🤷🏽‍♀️😔🤦🏽‍♀️

My LG turned 2 in March ! I didn’t think we would have an issue conceiving and now I wish we started sooner . I’m 29 next month. I’ve always had irregular cycles though.

Oh that’s good with the Ava bracelet . I was going to get that or ovusense but ovusense had a deal on so I went with that.

I think I have low ovarian reserve as I had bloods done on cd 5 and they came back at fsh 10 :(

It’s just bugging me I’ve had no temp rise whatsoever .

I reckon you did ovulate cd15... your Lh peak can be the same day (say If you did it 12 hours before it could have still been at peak , and then you can ovulate that day too so sounds right ....

So just talking to you makes me feel less crazy , my partner keeps saying I need to chill , and relax , saying those things do not make me chill or relax when everyone is having babies left right and centre !! I even deleted my fb because I cannot deal with all the announcements .. I know I have 1 already but I feel more pressure this time, like I wanted a 2.5 year age gap and now we already are at a 3 year age gap at least. So silly .

@Ellanatin your post has come at just the right time for me as I have no idea what's going on with my ovulation either. I typically have a 32-35 day cycle but BBT dipped on CD13 followed by 3 temp increases. FF now thinks I've ovulated on CD13 but I've had no EWCM and no positive OPKs. I can't imagine that I have a 22 day LP so who knows what's going on!! Maybe AF is due earlier this month? Guess I'll keep temping and OPK testing just in case.

It's so frustrating when you can't tell what's happening with you own body, isn't it?

Same here wish I started trying sooner. We got preggo soon after having my daughter but we miscarried really early. It was purely an accident as my hormones were all over thr place as she was only 6months old and wasn't meant to be.

I got the Ava for £185 before the price shot up to £249 the next month 😱 way too expensive.

What does fsh10 mean? sorry not had any checks or anything done like that well not that im aware of.

My friend has just had her 2nd and her daughter is same age as mine. going to see them on Sunday. so happy for her but at the same time wish i had done the same could have had my 2nd by now possibly 🤷🏽‍♀️

It does seem everyone around me at the moment is also preggo or having babies makes me want to have another baby even more 😔

I also feel slightly guilty like im being ungrateful as i already have one and some ppl close to me are struggling to have their 1st so i dont have many ppl to talk to about ny concerns. everyone assumes cos u have had one its a done deal to have the 2nd but it cldnt b further from thr truth.

Aww I am glad my post has helped someone else cos i started to feel like i was alone or keep obsessing over it but its hard not to. took 10months with my first cos i never knew about temp checking and charting so just done it whenever but was hoping with charting it would make it quicker 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have a 30day cycle and had a strange period last month wss convinced i was implantation spotting but the preggo test says i wasn't so random.

Our bodies are so frustrating 🤦🏽‍♀️ Dont worry u got next cycle to try and find when u ovulated fingers crossed its clearer for us all ! 🙏

I did find using the clear blue so much easier to read than those other cheapy ones. They were so annoying. started testing at CD10 morning and evening. I got my first positive for high fertility and 9pm. I will copy link below for ebay where i bought my clearblue one. it told me when i was high fertility and peak which is pretty cool tbh.

Ah sorry to hear that, I got pregnant the first time after being off the pill for 8 months (not trying at all) and I miscarried , then fell again 3 months after .

That’s the price I saw for £249, so I didn’t want to pay that out . I think ovusense was £50, although I still have to pay for monthly subscriptions but least that can be cancelled if I ever get a BFp again!

So fsh is follicle stimulating hormone , makes the eggs release and mature or something like that.
It needs to be ideally like less then 8, that’s a good number to have . And some say 10 isn’t good / on the border . As it means you don’t have many good eggs left .
You have a higher number when your nearing menopause .

I’m sure you have ovulated with positive opks and a temp spike for sure ... just you may have caught the hours on the spectrum both close together and that’s why there seems to be a bit of an over lap.

Second infertility is still an issue , and you still have the same feelings as the first infertility . I feel this time I have guilt towards my little girl that I may not be able to give her a sibling ... so I feel like im dealing with that too.

I just tried to get an appointment with a hormonal specialist and they can’t till mid July . Seems like ages away , I know it’s not but I wanted one sooner!! Especially if I’m paying £250, that’s the whole point not having to wait ages via the nhs .

When would you be due on??

Thanks for the info @Ellanatin, I'll check it out. I'm only on cycle 3, ttc #1, so am trying to analyse my cycles to find some kind of pattern. I'm 39 years old so expect ttc to take some time!

It was a really early miscarriage but it was equally as heart breaking as we had gotten used to the idea of having another. So sorry to hear u also went through a miscarriage but so happy u were able to get pregnant again so soon after.

Yea the price in general was expensive but the new price is extortionate to say the least! I only got it cos its got 3 settings.. trying to conceive, pregnant and to generally know ur cycle which i would use when not trying to conceive after i am hopefully able to have my 2nd 🙏

Oh ok thanks for explaining. 10 does not sound that bad. They do like to frighten us with these kinda results. When my sis inlaw found out she was preggo the doc firmly said dont get excited as u have a 50% chance that it will be ectopic (she has endometriosis) i said to her that was harsh and giving u the scare factor to be careful etc fine but to be so negative and 1 sided seeing as it was 50:50 was no on. Thankfully she is now 6weeks and everything seems to be fine and defo no ectopic. so what im trying to say is obviously take on board what they are saying but with a pinch of salt they are not god at the end of the day anything can change.

Same. She has so much fun playing with other kids i want now more than ever for her to have a sibling.

On calendar thats not long but for us women dealing with our inner demons of fear we cant get preggo that is an excruciating waiting time. But the peace of mind after the app will be worth the wait. Good luck with that. NHS are just ridiculous. wouldnt mind paying for healthcare lik other countries if it meant getting seen to when required without being made to think ur mad cos they cant be arsed 🙄 thats why im building on data before i go. i told myself if not preggo in 6months will go with my data to docs.

Not much at all but better to see the rise than yet another decrease. It suggests that it could mean low progesterone but i have no other symptoms of that.

OMG even more confusing i just done a opk test to check advised by my sis inlaw as she ovulated twice in the month managed to catch it and got preggo and i got the high fertility sign wtf!!!

So with fsh levels anything above 9.5 should be an immediate referral to a fertility clinic (this is what a lady has told me on another board and actually sent me the gp guidelines )

So why did my gp say they were “normal” so it doesn’t sound like I’m going to be able to do this on my own :(

I called a few fertility clinics yesterday to get some tests done ; they can do internal scans etc and check your egg store , and they will be calling tomorrow . I’m inpatient now : I had reflexology too but I feel like that was a waste of money!!

So I got my positive opk on Tuesday and now my graph is showing I ovulate yesterday... on cd 21!
So now the 2ww begins or really the one week wait for me as soon as I start spotting I know I’m out !! Arghh! Going to start with my progesterone cream too!

Ah wow that’s harsh the doc saying 50% it may not survive , the power of the mind is such a big thing over our body and putting that fear into someone isn’t going to help!

I keep reading up about that and I have lots of symptoms . I google everything and think I have that though haha.

At the moment I think I have few Eggies,

I think I have a thyroid issue too ( from my blood results )

Low progesterone

And endo.

Doctors all say different things to each other and say it with such confidence that we are made to believe they are right in what they are saying. So annoying can never get a straight answer.

Thats what i believe there is telling someone to stay mindful but to straight up plant only a bsd seed in someones head is so terrifying and awful. mind over matter for sure.

She had crippling periods from young and went from there. i also thought i hsd this but after checking online the symptoms are unlikely. Also thought i may have low progesterone but the symptoms for that i dont get either.

Lol im thr same so terrible love google but at thr same time it doesnt play well for my secret hypochondriac ways lol

CD 21 no surge
CD24 High surge morning and evening
CD25 (today 10/06/18) high surge morning peak surge just now. and ewcm when wiping. wtf 😱🤷🏽‍♀️
