Possible implantation bleeding or period?

My husband and I are trying to conceive and in the last 2 weeks I have been feeling a little off colour.
I've experienced the following symptoms:

  1. bloating
  2. nausea
  3. Twinges in lower abdomen which I think are cramps (not every day but once or twice in the last 2 weeks) 4)Fatigue (severe!) 5)Tender nipples and breasts (very tender to the touch)

So today (6th June 2018) I started spotting. It looks more of a pinky/brown colour and my period is due on 9th June 2018. I'm not sure whether my period has just come early or whether this could be implantation bleeding? I'm also experiencing slight cramps (more achy and pulling in lower abdomen rather than painful).

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Is it possible that I could be pregnant?
I'm completely new to all of this so don't really know what to expect. I've asked some female relatives who were no help at all!

I've had the same symptoms. For me it's still a BFN but if it's implantation bleeding you should be able to see a positive on a test in about 4days I think. Good luck!

I'm going through the same, I was due on 29th, had brown spotting for 3 days & then nothing. I've tested 3 times, the last time being the 4th & have had BFN. One side of me is saying the brown spotting was just a light period but the other side of me in convinced I'm pregnant. We've been trying for over 2 years now & thiw is the first bit of hope I've had, but surely it would be showing on a test by now. Sigh!

I just realised I was no help at all OP in my reply & just ranted away Blush

I'm sending you all the luck in the world, I hope you get your Bfp!

@CheeseGromitt at what point do we accept it and move on? Some people don't get a positive until weeks after their missed / weird period! I'm treating it like a new cycle but inside I'm still wondering when next to test, just in case.

@cathy1412 given that your period isn't late yet it's entirely possible that it's too early to test. So many preggo symptoms match PMS that it's impossible to tell the difference until you get your bfp. Keeping everything crossed for you.

CheeseGromitt · 06/06/2018 18:54

@hidcat I don't think I'll be able to rule it out until my next Af, If I don't get a bfp before that. I think I'm going to test again on Friday, if I had enough tests I think I'd do 2 a day haha.

@HidCat: I don't usually get many PMS symptoms. Maybe the odd mood swing (mostly crying) but apart from that I don't normally have any symptoms. I have a niggling feeling a may be pregnant as I've had so many different symptoms and I don't feel unwell, just different.
My dog has also begun acting a little strange in the last week. She has begun crying now and again and sits outside the bathroom (she doesnt usually do this) as well as putting her head on mh stomach every night. I dont know if dogs can sense these things but don't want to jump the gun just yet. Hopefully I'll get a BFP! Ill keep you posted!
Also good luck to everyone else!
