Hi guys,

I'm active on a few threads but need a bit of advice really, I'm TTC and DPO10 and my cramps are back with a vengeance.

Monday they were so bad I was convinced it was AF and wore a pad... absolutely nothing. And since, I'm having cramps but not anywhere near as bad.

Should I be concerned?
Is this just signs AF is on her way?

I guess I'm just wondering if I should rule myself out for this month or if I'm still in the game?

Anyone got any experience with cramping as a symptom of early pregnancy? I've googled and implantation seems to be more about the bleed than the cramps and I haven't bled at all.

Thanks in advance you fantastic people xx

Yes with many of my pregnancies - cramping is normal for period but also pregnancy!
With my second child I even wore
Tampons for a few days, was on holiday, kept telling my husband I wished this period would start - I was distracted and turned out I was actually late and pregnant!
Good luck!

Thanks @flumpybear don't mean to be a drama queen but if I've got symptoms that are gonna rule me out I'd rather know.

That's really comforting and congratulations to you lovely xx

I'm 5 weeks pregnant but I felt exactly like period was coming so almost didn't even test on 11dpo. I've continued to have period cramping since getting BFP too, so for me it was def a symptom of pregnancy as well as period. I actually had less symptoms this time than any other two week wait, weirdly!

@Celebelly congratulations! And thanks so much for the advice.

How far gone were you when you found out lovely? Xx

I had a stark white negative on 10 dpo and then a real squinter in the morning of 11dpo. By afternoon I got a positive on a digital. I'm guessing I implanted on 9dpo, which I think is the most common day for implantation (and it takes a couple of days to get enough HcG in your urine to be detected).

@Celebelly really interesting thank you xx

Sorry @Celebelly did you use a FRER for your first test?

OP posts:
Celebelly · 06/06/2018 15:17

Yes. It was a FRER on 10 dpo with the negative in the morning. And then I'd run out so just used a cheapie at 11dpo and was annoyed with myself I hadn't saved a FRER Grin

Yes, I had this. Was convinced AF was coming, but didn’t have any spotting which I normally get before my period. I’m now 9 weeks!

sachabloom · 06/06/2018 16:12

Thanks @Celebelly

@GinGeum when did you test? Congratulations Grin

I tested on the day my period was due, mainly because every time I’d tested early on months before that, I’d refused to believe the negative result and then been so sad when period arrived.

sachabloom · 06/06/2018 17:02

@GinGeum that's a very good point. I'll try to do that myself then. Thanks x x
