BBT chart help

I'm cd12 and should be ovulating today. Here's my chart. My Temps have been steadily increasing from a dip at cd8. But I had negative opks at this time. This weekend I've had dark but not quite positive opks.

Do you think this indicates something is wrong? My cycles are usually between 23-25 days.

No - in all likelihood nothing is 'wrong'. bbt is really only helpful a few day after you've ovulated when the pattern becomes clearer.

VenusStarr · 04/06/2018 10:40

Thanks for your reply @physicskate I'm worried because I haven't ovulate yet (I don't think, unless I did on cd8?) and my temperatures now are similar to post ovulation temperatures last month.

The temp itself means nothing. It's a pattern you're after. Cd 12 is still early. The coverline can vary hugely each month. Evaluate later in your cycle. This isn't enough data yet.

VenusStarr · 04/06/2018 12:35

Thank you. I ovulated on cd11 last month and my cycle was only 23 days. I'm due on in 13 days so feeling anxious that my body isn't doing what it's supposed to do.

Your luteal phase (time between ovulation and period) is pretty static. So if you ovulate later your period will start later too

VenusStarr · 04/06/2018 13:19

Thank you @ForEverlong I've not had a cycle longer than 25 days since coming off the pill in December so I'll just have to wait. I don't know why I'm panicking, I think ttc is highlighting how I like to be in control and this is something I have no power over.

Just bumping this to say I've had another rise and apparently I ovulated on Saturday, cd10, according to flo app. My body is a mystery to me.

This Is my first month temping and I’m using OvuSense . I haven’t had a temp spike either :( I’m on cd 21 and cd18 I had a positive opk. Shouldn’t I have a temp spike by now :(

VenusStarr · 08/06/2018 19:12

Hi @Wishescometrue I'm not sure. Sometimes you can get a surge but not ovulate, or you can have a slow rise like I did this month. Can you share a picture of your chart?

Tomorrow is my last chance for a rise :( sorry I had to re set my password for my old account as my new account doesn’t let me upload pics ! I read that a slow rise is connected to pcos . Maybe I ovulate a lot later then the Symptons . I even get ovulation pains but that was Tuesday . X

To be honest I’m not really sure how to read my chart which doesn’t help! I’m not sure what I’m looking for ...

physicskate · 08/06/2018 20:01

@Kirstyyy123 looks to me like you could be 4 dpo...

Kirstyyy123 · 08/06/2018 20:47

How do I read it ? What’s the rise I look for? I actually have no clue . Haha. Ovusense doesn’t register you have ovulated for the first month until it has like most of your temps and sees some kind of algruithin (is that the word? )

VenusStarr · 09/06/2018 08:56

@Kirstyyy123 I'm not familiar with ovusense. Have you got today's temperature? How long are your cycles usually?

With mine above, I wasn't sure so I entered all my data into fertility friend and that showed I had ovulated. That might help reassure you.
