Hi ladies, I am in serious need of some help I have my mind working overtime! 😟😟 I recently discovered I am pregnant! Then the reality hit me that I slept with 2 guys, both unprotected! One being my ex partner and the other guy being a friend of my friend after a drunken nite. I need help on determining paternity! I will give an insight into my cycle from a fertility calculation below. I have 30-35 day cycles.

Lmp: 13th February 2018

Ovulation: 3rd-7th March 2018.

I slept with my ex partner from the 23rd February until the 3rd March then we split up on the 4th.

I slept with the second guy the 9th March.

Judging by last period, I should have been slightly over 15 weeks. I am 13 weeks pregnant at this stage, I received an ultrasound on the 31st May. I asked for conception date they told me it was the 16th March, a date when I was sleeping with neither person and also 30 days from LMP. I got back with my ex around the 25th March.

The baby is due 6/12/2018 according to hospital dates. I am wondering could the baby belong to my ex due to ovulation taking place 6th March (+ 10) or so days for implantation to make it 16th March? Is it guy number 2 baby even though I'd finished ovulating? Or are my dates just possibly out from ultrasound?

Thanks in advance.

Think it's too close to figure it out, think you'll have to wait until the birth to get a DNA test done. Does your ex know he may not be the father?

No he doesn't know. My ex is a very violent man, has attacked me on numerous occasions this is the reason I had no desire to tell him. However someone already told him and he's denying anything to do with it regardless I just wanted an opinion. Do you think from ovulation dates he could be the father?

Thank you! 😊

I thought of this myself but based on my LMP in February I concieved 30 days after on the 16th March, would I have been fertile then?

Also is conception based on fertilization of the egg or implantation? Thanks

Sorry for the bombardment of information lol I also forgot to mention I asked about the EDD due to it not matching up, a midwife told me over the phone that it could have +10 days added and that could be adjusted at 20 week if needs be if this is of any use to my question above.

Thanks 💛

I think EDD is supposed to be the most effective from the 12 week scan, as there is a big difference in size from week to week in early days..

I had a 7 week private scan which gave an EDD of 11 June, the 12 week NHS scan gave me 8 June. My EDD based of my LMP is 14 June, it all doesn't quite add up x

Hi girls update!

Had 20 week scan, 19th July. Baby was measuring 21+ weeks throughout most of the scan! I explained to the doctor that my dates were not right, but no change.

Anybody any advice on my previously asked paternity question??

And she's a beautiful baby girl. 👭💖

I'd say ask the other guy (the non violent one) for a DNA test when baby is born. I think you should distance yourself from the violent guy now there's a baby involved!!

I've heard it's possible they. DNA test while pregnant by taking your blood and sample from dad, it amazing, but the dads DNA is actually in our blood when pregnant with their baby, if look into this if I were you, your dates are too close to be 100% sure.
