B12 and folic acid deficiency

Had my blood tests results back and I have extremely low B12 and folate levels. I have been told I need to start receiving B12 injections as well as upping folic acid.. gynae said to discuss the effects this will have on ttc at next appointment in 2 weeks. I googled and have read about low levels causing unexplained infertility, birth defects, miscarriage.. Probably all worst case but does anyone have any experience with this?

I have B12 injections. It did take me 12 cycles to conceive but pregnancy has been straightforward up til now (except for bad sickness) and I'm now 24 weeks

The injections make me feel much better overall and you can take extra folic acid or folate (I think up to 5mg/day) to combat that deficiency so I wouldn't worry too much
