Hi ladies,

So a little about me, TTC #2 for 26 months now! 27/28 day cycle every month with no problems. Me and OH recently had all infertility tests and thankfully came back ok with both of us so has just been bad timing etc

Well....

I'm currently on 7dpo and for the last couple of days I've had a mixture of pink/brown (mostly brown) discharge when I wipe. Literally every time I wipe. Now the thing that confuses me is I never ever spot mid cycle.

Is this a good sign or am I once again reading into it too much? I've had no other 'symptoms' other than the spotting, not even cramps but it seriously doesn't feel like AF is coming.

Please shed some light on this brown cm please, have you got a BFP after this?

Could be a good sign, sounds possibly like implantation.
Order some FRERs from amazon and test around 10/11 dpo.

Ahh damn I can't afford the FRERs this month 🤦🏽‍♀️ I've got loads of the cheapies in the cupboard though. Those will have to do 😩

I've only ever had spotting once mid cycle, around the same time as you. I am now 27 weeks pregnant :) x

Oh my goodness really! I really do hope so and congratulations to you. Can you remember when you got your BFP?

well I ovulate really late in my cycle so I was over 2 weeks late when I got my BFP. It worked out that I was about 3.5 weeks pregnant when I got my BFP and I got it on an IC then confirmed with a very clear positive on a FRER the next day :) I stopped testing for a week cos I was driving myself crazy with all the BFN's so I reckon I would have got a BFP earlier but I just wasn't testing :)

Ahh that's great news. I think I ovulated mega early this month. Was doing opks from cd10 and ovulated on cd12 where I normally don't ovulate until at least cd14. I started spotting 2 days after ovulation so keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

I've just noticed I am going to the toilet waaaaay more today! Good sign!!?

I definitely went a lot more OP, excited for you! But please don't be disheartened if it's not this month, I got my hopes up so much the month before I conceived and I was devastated when AF showed up :(

And I ovulated on something crazy like cd22! We'd stopped 'trying' as we were DTD from (e.g.) day 10-16 so was a complete miracle that we DTD on the day I actually ovulated and then conceived this little one.

Ahh it was meant to be for you then. It's just so strange how much I've been spotting. Haven't had anything all day and just been to loo and it's thick dark brown. Sorry if tmi. Just so weird for me x

That's ok, I remember when it was me I just wanted anyone to tell me what was happening was normal.. which it is! When are you going to test? X

Yep. I've been secretly wanting everyone to tell me it's implantation haha! I'll probably start Sunday as I'm due on 10th June. Got loads of cheapies so can't hurt lol x

You'll regret saying that. I need somewhere to vent as my friends are bored of my updates after 24 cycles I think 😂🙈

Peeing a lot was a big sign for me.

I even had to get up in the night to pee. That's unlike me x

@Lilly1207 thank you 😄 feeling quite positive today, got an achy left boob which I don't usually have. And cm seems to be turning white now rather than dark brown. Keeping fingers tightly crossed x

Sooooo update for those (if any) that are watching.

Today has been our annual street party, I've had one drink as fed up of not drinking 'just in case' earlier on today.

Sat outside just I had this sudden massive period like pain and literally had to run to the loo!! Now I've got almost 'diarrhoea' but not quite. Sorry tmi!

Are you using OPKs to pinpoint ovulation? I just want to say that sometimes brown spotting isn't a good sign - I had it from 7 days post ovulation and I think my luteal phase was too short. So now I am taking vitamin B6 which does seem to be helping stop the spotting the last two cycles.

I hope it's implantation bleeding in your case, which it could well be! Just be aware of the above too.

Yes I'm fully aware, not getting hopes up this month purely because of the spotting and the reason that it's so unusual for me x

Today's update - 10dpo, bfn this morning on a cheapie, I am seriously sooo tired. Like I had 8 hours last night. Up this morning at 6:30, and I was back in bed for 9:30/12:30! And I'm even now lay on the sofa trying not to drop off!

So tired ! 😑 💤
