Expert line eyes needed...any hope at all?

Morning all,

I’m a day late for AF and feel no signs of her coming. I think hubby & I were spot on with DTDing over my ovulation date. I’ve taken a IC this morning & this was the pic after a few minutes. Could it be? Or should I stop getting my hopes up now. Looking for advice before grabbing a FRER & getting my hopes up further. Thanks in advance!

I'd grab a frer

I didn't test positive on one of those until 3 days after my period was due...

My IC (looks like the same brand you have) was exactly like that, I then did a FRER and it was a clear BFP!

A FRER won’t get your hopes up further / at one day post AF it should give you a definite result. The brand you’re using now have me a visible line at around day 2-3

I'm not sure if I can see part of a line on the second pic. I'd test with the FRER! Good luck x

The FRER is negative, so I guess I’m not pregnant & AF will be along in the next few days 😢 x

I have had about a year of it now, being disappointed every month, so believe me I know that feeling. I also had a chemical and also one month where I was late for no apparent reason and it was torture. but today I got myBFP. I hope you don't think I'm being insensitive, but just want to point out that it will happen! If it helps this month I used the Sperm meets egg plan (google it) used pre seed lube and started acupuncture. Keep trying and sure you will get you BFP soon. X

Oh no not at all - congratulations! That’s fantastic news & I’m so pleased for you that you’re time has finally arrived. Fingers crossed for a happy & healthy 9 months. It’s also reassuring to hear that others go through the same. This is month 4 for us, and I just can’t shake the feeling that’s there’s something wrong with me & that this won’t happen for us. I’m surrounded by so many pregnant friends as well at the moment, which only makes being late for no reason even more upsetting. I’m meeting another friend for lunch today & I’m pretty sure she’s got news to share as well 😔 x

Yep I have hit a baby boom too - everyone is pregnant! Because I had been trying for year I had started fertility investigations and had had some blood tests this month which showed that everything was working as it should, and lo and behold I got caught! So chances are there is nothing actually wrong, it can just take a while sometimes. If AF hasn't come by tomorrow then test again.

Ahh that’s interesting to hear as well. I think the irrational fear is that I’ll be the small percentage that can’t, but I know there’s no reason I couldn’t, so I just need to stay positive. I know that in a few days, either way, I’ll feel better, it’s just the test this morning that’s upset me. Thanks so much for listening 😘 x

Well i'be got a very faint line today compared to yesterday's strong one. Really hoping this is not another chemical. 😕
