Is it normal to feel weak while pregnant?

Hi op. I think it can be at times but suppose it depends. I'm 4 weeks now and feel totally shattered but wouldn't say I feel weak? X

Fatigue is defo normal x

I'd say so. I get breathless really easily, and I'm very tired all the time. I do sometimes feel weak too.

The tiredness is unbelievable. Having said that your midwife will check your iron levels to check it’s not anemia making it worse. But generally during the first tri I feel like I have zero energy and could sleep all day

LawDegreeBarbie · 02/06/2018 09:39

The tiredness I felt in the first and early second trimesters was absolutely ridiculous. I would sleep for a full night then require a three hour nap in the day just to function.

My iron levels were all fine but sometimes low iron can make you feel exhausted so get that checked if you can if you're not having bloods until your 12 week appointment and also remember to take your vitamins with enhanced vitamin D.
