Progesterone 47.7 on day 23

Had my progesterone done on day 23 instead of 21 because of the bank hols, I was prepared for it being equivocal/a bit low due to the timing and possibly needing repeating, but actually it was a good result at 47.7, so hopefully I'm definitely ovulating - yay! 😊

But Could this mean I'm pregnant? My cycle is usually 28 days but I did not get a positive opk til day 14 this month, so guessing ovulating on CD 15/16. My and dp did dtd at the right time too, but then we always do and we've had no luck so far...

Had a negative P.T. this am but it was only a cheapie, not a FRER.

Been temping and today CD25 temp was still up.

Any advice would be great as can't seem to get clear info online on expected levels on day 23 and I've become a bit obsessed! 😂😳

Your progesterone would be raised regardless. If you were pregnant, the progesterone should remain elevated. This test won't enlighten you.

Your cd21 test should be taken 7 days after ov. So if you didn't ov until cd16, cd23 is the right day for the test to be taken on.

If it helps. My progesterone was taken at 16dpo (cd30 of a 27day cycle) and it was 23.4 and I was pregnant and am now nearly 12weeks and after 3 scans bub is growing beautifully. Anything above 30 suggests ovulation but no idea what happens once you're pregnant cos mine obviously dropped a bit. Good luck.

I got a BFP! CD26 with a frer, and I have not left it cooking for the full 3 minutes yet! 😊

Wow congratulations. It really is crazy and just like in films. You go for tests and people even about to start ivf etc and that’s the month it happens! Fantastic news X

Very faint line today compared to yesterday's strong one. Really hoping this is not another chemical. 😕

What tests are you using? If they are IC I never got very strong line with them

randomuntrainedcuntowner · 02/06/2018 15:22

Frers. 😕

I see, there could be so many reason eg hormone levels double every 48hrs so you never know might get a good line again tomorrow! Good luck X

I'm so sorry babe. Chemicals are horrible things. Sending massive hugs.

randomuntrainedcuntowner · 04/06/2018 15:21

It's my second chemical now. Seriously starting to think I can't do this anymore. Might just stop bothering.

Really sorry to hear that 😢

I'm beginning to wonder what's wrong with me. I seem to be able to get fertilised by they don't seem to want to implant one way or another. My uterus must be a hostile environment!

@randomuntrainedcuntowner this isn't your fault babe. This is the difficulty with testing early. It will happen. You just need a really sticky one. Have you had you levels checked? Could be something as simple as low progesterone?

randomuntrainedcuntowner · 04/06/2018 19:59

Well my progesterone seemed ok on day 23?
